How to Win Every Space Battle Quick & Easy (Cheat):

This guide describes how to edit your save file to increase your starship damage.

Are you getting your ass kicked by Drukhari? Are space battles boring you
out of your mind? Worry not! If you follow this guide, you will blow up your
enemies with a single shot!
To edit your save file, you need either of these programs installed:
* 7-Zip or WinRAR

Next, locate your save file folder, which should have this path:
C:\Users(USERNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\WH 40000 RT\Saved Games

If you cannot find it, copy&paste this link into Windows Explorer:
* %appdata%..\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\WH 40000 RT\Saved Games
* Then, select the save file you want to edit and make a backup copy in case
something goes wrong.
* Right-click the save file you want to edit and open it with either 7-Zip
or WinRAR. If you have 7-Zip installed, you can use right-click ->
context menu -> 7-Zip -> Open archive
* After that, scroll to the bottom until you find a file called "player.json"
and open it.
Inside, search (CTRL+F, search direction down for notepad) for the following line:
* settings.difficulty.min-party-starship-damage
{"Key":"settings.difficulty.min-party-starship-damage","Value":999}
Change the number after "value:" to 999. Or whatever your heart desires.
* Close notepad and save your changes.
* Then wait a moment and save your changes again when this prompt comes up.
* File "player.json" was modified....
* Close 7-Zip/WinRAR and you are ready to go!

Tips to Beat Aurora:
--------------------
I expect a lot of this depends on your character and how you’re speccing.
My guy is an Operative specced for sniping, so by this fight I’ve got three
total operatives (Pasqal and Idira) dropping exploits on everyone.
Idira and the Battle Sister Whatsherface head off to get the trash mobs and
work towards the sniper. Idira uses the lightning deal and psychic scream
(with excess damage hitting nearest next enemy) to clear out the mobs, BS
has a flamer (and a bolter) and ‘nades.
Henrik, the Seneschal, and Pasqal head straight to Aurora and start wailing.
My guy hunkers down and shoots, throws exploits on him, etc. Idira uses
Dominate on the sniper once she’s in range to get him down off that tower,
he gets killed by BS, who is beat up but living and using her flamer on the
second set of mobs who come out of those doors.
Aurora breaks away after taking enough damage, kills Henrik (IIRC) at range,
and heads towards the BS. Idira uses Dominate to pull Aurora away from the
BS and closer to the melee guys. Pasqal moves over to support BS, ‘nades a
group of mobs who are already on fire. My guy, Mr. Snipeypants, drops Aurora
at extended range.
-=Tl;dr=-
You need to keep Aurora busy in melee with at least two tanky warriors while
you send at least two cc-capable types over to get at the sniper and handle
the grunts on the way. Use all your skills and grenades and so forth; this
is a boss fight. Dominate is low-key one of the best abilities in the game.
Stealthily Completing Jae’s Act 4 Quest:

* When you reach the sewers & need to avoid getting spotted by patrols, you
can kill Falco’s Patrollers in the overworld if they’re roaming solo.
* You still get credit for completing without getting spotted.
* I used Cassia’s “Held in My Gaze” ability on the northern patrol.
* Dude ragdolled & I finished the rest of the quest no problem.
