How to Get New Endings:
-----------------------
-=Starting Requirements=-
New Game + required! To unlock NG+ mode, you need to finish the game at
least one time on any difficulty level. Remember, to get the Stillness
Ending, you must have already gotten one of the original endings.
For your first time playing, choose a difficulty that feels right for
you based on how much you’ve played Silent Hill games before. Don’t rush
through it. Explore and enjoy the game. Your first time playing is really
special and you’ll remember it for a long time.
-=New Ending 1: Stillness=-
To get the Stillness Ending, you need to start a New Game + after getting
the In Water ending in a previous game.
* When you enter Silent Hill, go to the town until you see log piles.
* Find The Chainsaw there and pick it up.
* You need this item for the ending.
* After getting The Chainsaw, go to the Auto Garage.
* Find the key and continue playing normally until you reach the bridge
after the gate you unlock. Go under the bridge through the gate.
* When you exit, look for a Green Car on the left.
* Break the window shown in the image and pick up The Key Of Sorrow.
* Keep playing the game normally until you get to the Lakeview Hotel
Otherworld.
* Go through it until you reach the Managers Office with the Dying Mannequin.
* Turn around to find a Wooden Safe.
* Use The Key Of Sorrow and enter the code 3-1-4 on the lock.
* Open the safe and take the item inside.
* Continue playing until the final cutscene.
* This will give you the Stillness Ending.
-=New Ending 2: Bliss=-
To get the Bliss Ending, you need to start a New Game +. No specific previous
endings are needed.
* Play the game normally until you meet Maria at Rosewater Park.
* Then use your map to go to the Bowl-O-Rama.
* Inside the Bowl-O-Rama, look behind the Serving Counter.
* You’ll find a Safe in one of the pigeon holes.
* Open the Safe using the Code 1-8-8-7.
* This will give you the Rusted Key.
* Keep playing until you reach 1F Brookhaven Hospital.
* During the puzzle where you collect Bracelets, go to the Garden.
* Look for a Gazebo in the northwest.
* Inside, you’ll find a Small Chest.
* Use the Rusted Key to open it and get the White Claudia.
* Continue playing until you enter Room 312 at the Lakeside Hotel.
* Before you put in the VHS Tape, open your inventory and use the White Claudia.
* Then insert the tape. This will unlock the Bliss Ending.

This is how you get points for each ending in the game. There are three
endings: Leave, Maria, and In Water.
The ending with the most points is the one you’ll get. If there’s a tie,
you’ll get the ending you haven’t seen before.
-=Points List=-
* You start with: 5 for Leave, 3 for Maria, 2 for In Water.
* Heal too much (600 or more): +1 Leave
* Maria gets hurt a lot (50 or more): -1 Maria
* Step on dead enemies more than 30 times: +1 In Water
* Kill 150 or fewer enemies: +1 Leave. Kill more than 350: +1 In Water
* Kill all defenseless enemies in the hotel: +1 In Water
* Pyramid Head fight: Avoid it: +1 Leave, Force it: +1 In Water
* Look for Maria in the maze room: +1 Maria
* Talk to Maria when she’s lying down in the hospital: +1 Maria
* Talk to Maria often: +1 Maria
* Let Maria guide you 7 or more times: -1 Leave, -1 In Water
* Look at everything in Heaven’s Night: +1 Maria
* Listen to the whole talk about sick Mary: +1 Leave, +1 In Water
* After beating Pyramid Head: Take Rust Egg: +1 Leave, +1 In Water.
Take Scarlet Egg: +1 Maria
* Hotel mirror puzzle: Fresh Apple: +1 Maria, Rotten Apple: +1 Leave,
+1 In Water
* Hanging puzzle: Choose Eddie or Angela: +1 Leave, +1 In Water.
Choose James: +1 Maria
* Look at Angela’s knife 2 or more times: +1 In Water
* Look at Mary’s things 3 or more times: +1 Leave, +1 In Water
* Read the message in Neely’s Bar: +1 In Water
* Coin puzzle: Snake Coin: +1 Leave, Man Coin: +1 In Water,
Woman Coin: +1 Maria
* Have bad health (over 100): +1 In Water
