End Game Boss Tips:
-------------------
You don’t need to grind levels, if you have the ability to fight Zhamla
it means that you’re an appropriate level purely due to having grinded
the cards.

Zhamla is only OP if you’re on Hard Mode. If you’re not on Hard Mode
and still struggling, the easiest thing you can do to turn the tide in
your favor is:

* Cast Barrier ever 20 seconds.
* Drink your health potion at every opportunity. Because potions recharge
individually, only drinking your health potion means your health potion
will recharge much more quickly. A Barrier into a Health Potion will let
you drink safely, if you can’t find a safe spot.
* Put 5 points into the Lady Luck talent, raising your damage dodge chance
  to 12%.
* Put 3 points into Fine Taste talent, giving your health potions 36%
  more HP.
* Put 5 points into Alchemist talent, making your health potions recharge
  25% faster.
* Removing all ‘Cursed’ gear (gear that lowers your defense).
* Use either the Crab Shield for more defense, or the Special ‘Unbreakable’
  Shield from Tai Ming.

If you are on Hard Mode, disregard all of that. Hard Mode Zhamla is designed
to be the ultimate challenge for the most extreme players. There is no
special reward for completing this on Hard Mode, it’s purely for the challenge.
He is balanced around the assumption that you have a carefully constructed
build, that you’re extremely skilled with it, and the knowledge that you
cannot heal.

By playing Hard Mode against Zhamla you have indicated that you are openly
inviting the developers to throw everything and the kitchen sink at you. If
you want to have a fun time against Zhamla in a much more manageable way,
just switch your game difficulty to Normal.

Either way, it’s not terribly kind call the developers a-holes in a review
because you took on a completely optional challenge with no reward attached
to it.

How to Beat the Red, Furious Giga Slime in the Mansion:
-------------------------------------------------------
I see a lot of people struggling with this. It’s a challenge boss that is
designed to scale with the player up to level 25, to ensure people who stumble
across it later in the game don’t accidentally 1-shot it and trivialize it.
The fact that it stops scaling at 25 means you can still put it off until
endgame, when you should be around level 35, but for those who want to kill
it earlier:

* Put three points into the Blink utility skill. This will help you negate
the slime, use it only to put enough distance between the boss and you to
  feel safe between attack cycles.
* Put three points into the Barrier utility skill. This will give you some
leeway if you do mess up and get jumped on, or get hammered.
* Sneak in damage with your skills only when it’s truly safe. This battle
isn’t a race, it’s chipping away when and where you can.
* Blink and/or counter slash is the way to kill all giant slimes.

The problem with giant slimes is that their jumps prevent blocking entirely
(and the slime on the floor prevents running). The hammer catches simply
people off guard but its still blockable.

Counter Slash is great since when you get the timing right, you can dodge
everything and get bonus damage while you are at it. Unfortunately, its 1H
weapon only so everyone else has to settle for Blink.

Tips for Arcade Mode:
---------------------
A tip for smoother runs in arcade mode: Focus on one or two skills, then
invest the rest of your points in support skills. Barrier acts as a safety
net and boosts EP regen, prolonging your survival.

Barriers only protect against direct damage and won’t help with aiming for
S rank (damage to the barrier lowers your score).

I recommend getting the snow summon. Even at level 1, it serves as a decent
meat shield.

For S rank enthusiasts, you don’t need to clear all rooms, but you’ll miss
out on exp.

To make Catalyst 0 of arcade mode easier, invest a point in barrier and use
it at the start of every room for a free health boost.

In arcade mode, shielding is essential. Shield the Bloomo and Helloweed to
create an opening for attack, especially when the Helloweed is tunneling.
Perfect guarding deflects ranged attacks, often one-shotting the shooter.
