-= How to activate =-
Omega Strikers gives out free coupon codes that unlock cosmetics such as creator
skins, emotes, and nameplates. They are cosmetic only and do not change gameplay,
and new codes are released through Odyssey Interactive's official social channels
and Discord, so redeem any you want sooner rather than later since codes can be
retired
over time. Beyond the headline creator codes below, a large set of esports and
university emotes (for example ASU, UCF, WATERLOO, and TEMPLE) can be redeemed the
same way through the Coupon menu.
* Launch the game and play through the opening missions until the in-game Store
unlocks.
* From the main menu, open the Store (top-left of the screen).
* Select the Coupon button, type a code into the text box, and press Submit.
* Rewards are added to your account right away; relaunch the game if they do not
appear.

-= How Striker Credits are calculated =-
Each match pays out roughly 300 to 600 Striker Credits, and the longer the match runs
the more you earn. Winning or losing does not change the payout, and your stats and
whether or not you earn MVP do not matter either. That means a fast 5-0 or 0-5 blowout
in three to four minutes nets only about 300 credits, while a close 4-5 or 5-4 game
lasting seven to nine minutes pays around 500 to 600. Once a match passes six minutes
it works out to roughly one credit per second of match time, so playing longer games
is the fastest way to bank credits and unlock characters.
-= Unlocking characters =-
You start with a small set of free Strikers and buy the rest from the in-game Store
using Striker Credits (the currency you earn by playing) or Ody Points (the premium
currency bought with real money). Most characters cost 10,000 Striker Credits or 800
Ody Points, while newer or premium picks run higher, up to around 50,000 credits (for
example Zentaro). Credits also come from daily, weekly, and seasonal missions on top
of match payouts, so clear those missions whenever you can to speed up the grind.
-= Win the core, then reset =-
The core has a strike cooldown just like your abilities, so timing your hit matters
more than spamming it. Aim to be the one who strikes the core second in an exchange:
that lets the ball travel toward the enemy goal while your cooldown comes back up,
instead of handing them an easy return. Use bank shots off the walls for angles the
goalie cannot read, and grab the map orbs to level up for stronger abilities as the
match goes on.
-= Set up your pre-match perks =-
Before a match you can equip perks that buff your Striker's kit and abilities. Build
them around the character and role you are playing rather than using a one-size-fits-
all loadout, and experiment, since different setups suit different play styles and can
noticeably raise your win rate.
