Quit trying to pack your board with a mediocre militia. Knightica 
penalizes spreading wide, not high. Combining three of the same 
unit into an overpowered version is nearly always the best option.

The reason is not hard to grasp: buffs. Why spend the Sergeant’s 
+1/+1 permanent buff on three weak Lancers when you can dump all 
those buffs into one death-machine monstrosity? Your job is to 
create a "carry" - a single, raid-boss-scale unit that will solo 
half the enemy team while your other guys mostly just exist to 
soak hits.


Break the Economy with This One Quirky Trick:
---------------------------------------------
This is the trick. This is the trick that turns a solid run into a 
victory lap. When you get the "Affinity" Demon Soul (which rewards 
1 gold per merge) and find an Elite reward that cuts troop spending
by 2 or more, you win the game.

-=Here’s the combination=-
* Utilize your buff to buy cheap troops that now have a price tag
  of 0 gold.
* Stack three of them. "Affinity" pays you 1 gold for your trouble.
* Sell the new, upgraded unit for 2 gold.

You’ve just created an infinite gold generator from out of thin air. 
You now get to sit there clicking your way to unlimited cash, reroll 
the shop into oblivion, and buy and stack everything that’s not 
nailed down.
