-= Use the current skill row =-
Playtest Patch 0.1.0 removed the former Q basic attack. The remaining abilities moved
from W, E, R, and T to Q, W, E, and R. Read the current HUD instead of relying on old
key positions, then test each ability once before committing to a fight.

-= Check remapped keys before queueing =-
Open Options with Esc and confirm every custom binding against the current HUD.
Repair a missing or duplicated binding before entering a match. This prevents a
control problem from looking like a broken hero ability.

-= Stay paired in the active 2v2 mode =-
The current playtest uses 2v2, while 4v4 is disabled. Keep enough distance to avoid
sharing every enemy effect, but remain close enough to combine abilities. A long solo
chase leaves half of the team without support.

-= Inspect a hero before testing damage =-
Press H to open hero and titan information. Choose a hero that loads a complete
visible skill row, then learn Q, W, E, and R in order. If a legacy hero or function
is missing, switch to an available hero instead of guessing how the unported content
should work.

-= Do not build around disabled systems =-
Titan selection and item-deck customization are disabled in the current playtest.
Transactional and other systems marked for rework are also disabled. Plan around the
hero abilities that are actually visible in the match, not around an unavailable
Titan or preset deck.

-= Use the scoreboard before committing =-
Press Tab before a major engage to confirm that the teammate is active and nearby. In
2v2, one absent player removes half of the team. Delay the engage when the scoreboard
or map state shows that the partner cannot follow.

-= Treat the item shop as a live feature check =-
Press P to open the item shop only during a safe pause. The playtest still has
disabled transactional and reworked features, so an old purchase path may be absent
or incomplete. Close the menu and continue testing the hero when the expected option
is unavailable.

-= Separate a game bug from a control bug =-
The current build is an early multiplayer test and does not yet have a stable
gameplay loop. When something fails, repeat the action once with the same hero,
ability, and mode. Then restart the match or client before testing a different
variable.

-= Ignore obsolete mode and number-key advice =-
The current playtest no longer uses the old 3v3 and 5v5 setup. It also removed the
in-game number hotkeys. Use 2v2 and the dedicated Esc, Tab, P, T, and H keys when
checking current behavior.

1. Open Options with Esc before joining a match.
2. Confirm that the visible ability row uses Q, W, E, and R.
3. Check Tab for the scoreboard, P for the item shop, T for emotes, and H for hero
   and titan information.
4. Enter a test match only after every required action responds once.

-= Compact route - First 2v2 playtest match =-
1. Select an available hero and open H to inspect the current information panel.
2. Test Q, W, E, and R away from the first serious engage.
3. Regroup with the teammate and avoid a solo chase in the 2v2 mode.
4. Press Tab before the next engage and delay it if the partner cannot follow.
5. Use P only from safety, then close the shop if a disabled feature blocks the
   expected action.

-= Isolate a broken ability or menu =-
1. Record the hero, mode, key, and action that failed.
2. Repeat the same action once without changing another setting.
3. Open Esc and verify that the key is still bound to the expected current action.
4. Restart the match or client and repeat the same test.
5. Change only one variable after the restart so the failed system can be identified.
