Quick Guide to Sanctum:
-----------------------
Written by kaiton

Sanctum is a meta changer, especially for newbies.

Update: Since Sanctum’s release, ATK has been buffed up to 320 times relative to
HP, making HP build obsolete in late game. The below info are from the time of
Sanctum’s release.

Tanks and healers give ATK to the whole team in 2 ways:
* For 1 tank/healer hero in the team, that hero gains ATK equal to 2% of that
hero’s HP. Best is styria+boomer for passive hp buffs.
* Giving ATK amp. This part is a new multiplier, which is beneficial for full
ATK build. For this ATK amp, using 2 tanks/2 healers is better than 1+1.

-=Formula with Violet as an example:=-
(Violet’s original ATK x various ATK multipliers including ATK amp from sanctum) +
Violet’s original HP x % conversion from sanctum

Note here that the ATK from % HP does not get multiplied by any of the ATK multipliers,
including passive ATK buffs.

Note that you don’t get to double dip. If you use a dealer in the team for example,
the HP gained from dealer cannot be converted to ATK too.

-=Example=-
Violet and Tilly in the team with lv5 sanctum. When Violet is naked, Violet’s ATK is 7p
and HP is 1p. Then I equip hp rune, boosting Violet’s HP to 101p (I.e. gain of 100p of HP).
This in turn gives Violet 2% of 100p HP = 2p ATK.
Violet’s ATK is thus now 9p.

2% of HP may sound small but it’s actually really big because HP grows a lot faster than
ATK when you compute all the various multipliers multiplying each other.

At equal cost end game, Cor’s HP:ATK will be 1600:1, which makes full HP far stronger
than full ATK (HP is 6-8x better when comparing best boss teams of each build). Everyone
should go full HP. Iris with HP becomes far better than ruin. Note that Iris doesn’t
pair well with meph since her buff doesn’t apply to summons.

-=Boss Team=-
* Full HP: Mael, Violet, Ungula, Iris, Styria, Boomer
* Full ATK: Mael, Violet, Meph, Ruin, Luna, Scarecrow

-=Arena Team=-
* Full HP: Malleus, Mael, Meph, Styria, Boomer, Elrond/Scarecrow
* Full ATK: Malleus, Mael, Meph, Luna, Valentine, Scarecrow

Understanding Iris’s Math Guide:
--------------------------------
Written by kaiton

-=TLDR=-
Iris’s buff stacks additively with other active buffers like ruin/gildong, which makes
her a strong buffer in early game when your se is still low but useless late game as you
grow your se (late game, gildong can buff 50x+ even for f2p). The new constellations
reduce the gap between onboard vs. frontline, which makes Iris’s buff relatively stronger
(from 6x to 12x at equal trans and gears without other active buffers). She’s godly in
farming due to her ability to share her ATK stats, which means you can gear her ATK while
gearing the rest of your team more gold and there’s no down time for her buff. This allows
you to farm higher stage with more gold %.

-=Iris’s Math=-
* Let A = total ATK power of your main dps (e.g. ungula). This is inclusive of all the
multipliers, passive buffers, and mael’s buff.
* Let B = ATK bonus from Iris = Iris’s ATK x Iris’s passive multipliers (inclusive of the
  100% from active and 500% from ex-weapon)

At same level, trans, and gears, Iris’s ATK is about 16x lower than Ungula’s ATK before
new constellations (6.9x after new constellations) due to lower ATK mult, ATK amp, and
constellations. If your main dps is stronger, then Iris’s ATK will be even lower relatively.

If Iris and Ungula are both T1 lv210, Iris’s passive multiplier+active+ex = 8600% or 86x.

This means if A=1, B=86/16=5.4. Ungula will now have total ATK power of 1+5.4=6.4 or 6.4x
of the original. In essence, Iris buffs 6.4x in absence of ruin/gildong. This is great for
farming since you don’t need to use ruin/gildong.

But when used with ruin/gildong, the buffs stack additively and is greatly diluted.

Total ATK = ATKx(Ruin’s buff + Iris’s buff) = 1x(50+5.4) = 55.4, which is only 10.8% gain
over not using Iris. Soba as a 6th slot would get you +50%, which is much better.

Would equipping full BDMG gears on Ungula and full ATK on Iris work in boss fight?

No, because the gain from BDMG (maybe around 2x) and together with Iris’s buff, that’s
11x total at best, which is far short of the 50x from ruin/gildong, so Iris will never
replace ruin/gildong. Also, remember that ruin/gildong multiplies on main dps’s ATK only,
so if you gear your main dps with BDMG, then there’ll be much less ATK to multiply if you
decide to use Iris together with ruin/gildong.

-=Where is Iris useful?=-
Iris is very good at farming because equipping her full ATK means you can equip your Jib
and Ungula with more gold instead. Why does this work? Because remember that Iris’s buff
is 5.4x to ungula’s 1x, meaning that Iris’s portion represents 5.4/6.4=84% of max total
ATK power. This means you can gear ungula with 0 ATK and you’ll still have 84% of what
you’d have if you’d geared ungula with full ATK. Very efficient.

-=Ideal farming team with Iris=-
* Jib, Ungula, Iris, mael, valentine, Louis (if 5 slots, take out mael).
* Use knockback cannon+squeak droids or cog wheel or wrench.
* Farm a safe stage like 32, 52, 72, 92 or 38, 58, 78, 98 where violet tanking isn’t
  required.
* Gear Iris full ATK everything. Gear all other ex weapons with gold red stat and gold/
gold trinkets with max gold rolls. As for runes, best runes for Jib/Ungula would be
ATK fixed stats with gold red stats. I roll for 1200% ATK on their runes but you could
also go with gold. Everyone else full gold everything.
* Pro tip: you can easily raise enough rec for infinite wrench by removing fort’s hp
constellations and equip engines with rec stats while making sure there’s no HP stat.
* If you want to farm higher but don’t have enough power, you can also try putting in
Gildong instead of mael/valentine. This will result in lower kpm due to Gildong’s
down time but you can farm higher.

How to Beat 27-20 Using Ungula (or Bjorn):
------------------------------------------
Written by RPhoenix

Stage 27-20 / Boss: Sunken Monaksia (Loneliness in Greek)

This boss gives you 1.5~2 seconds of DPS (provided you are using frontliners such as
Unga, Kuba, Eclipse, Bjorn etc).

This mini-guide will apply for those who are using UNGULA (can also be swaped with Bjorn).

* Fort setup: RBK[Red Barrier Kit] (MUST HAVE) / Flaming Cannonball (optional)
* Team setup: Unga (at least 3* ) / Val (1* at least) / Soba (1* at least) / Bruce (1*
at least) / Gildong (as much SE as you can stack, Preferably at least 1.7k% buff)

You will be using auto cast abilities.

Timings: Start the stage and wait until your Unga DIES, After her death Click summon boss
(make sure there is a small delay between those 2 actions [about 0.1 seconds]) and as soon
as the animation starts playing count 4 seconds. At the 3rd second, activate gildongs
ability. At the 4th second click Skip (on the boss cutscene).

If done correctly your unga will spawn 0.1 seconds AFTER the end of the Boss’s FIRST attack,
having gildong buff AND activating her ability. That will give her enough time to Shoot 3/4
of her spears which if they crit SHOULD dmg the boss significantly.

Bonus: If you perfect the timings you can get unga to spawn EXCACTLY as the first hit gets
registered, allowing her to use ALL 4 of her spears for max dmg.

The key here is repeating those actions over and over until you find the sweet spot.
