Quick Guide to Crafting:
------------------------
Written by Zeith

First, grab the 20% chance to epic craft items from the elven harp.
It's in the bottom row.

There are two types of crafting:

* White Crafting.
* Yellow Crafting.

White crafting is when you farm white items and imbue them with 3 stats
to make them yellow items. Yellow crafting is when you alter a yellow
item. This should only be done with items from Cata-1 because it costs
so many resources.

Items can roll a normal roll, a double roll, and a quad roll for each
stat. The epic craft mod is misleading; it says "doubles," but it's
only 50%. For example, with crit damage, a normal roll would be 50, a
double 75, and a quad 100.

Double rolls occur naturally; we don't know how rare they are. The epic
craft has a 20% chance, so for a quad roll to happen, you have to hit
both of them at the same time, which is extremely rare.

Altering an item gives you a chance to double and quad roll each time
it's done. So if you have a low roll on a stat you really need, you
can alter to a dump stat, then alter back. This is very resource-
intensive and has a high chance to either make a god item or brick it.

Normal crafting is done by grabbing a ton of white items and imbuing
them with 3 stats, hoping you get 2-3 good stats and maybe a double
or quad roll on them. This is very cheap and can be done on many items
without costing many resources. This is how new players should craft,
until rupture 120+ or a catacomb run.

Catacomb 1 runs: When you finish a Catacomb 1 run, check all the items'
stats before altering to make sure that the item has a chance to be an
upgrade to your existing gear. If it doesn't, disenchant it. This costs
a fair bit of gold and can be a big burden early on.

The reason Catacomb 1 runs are so good is that they drop items from
15 ruptures higher than your max, which means more stats and more power.

Gameplay Tips:
--------------
-=Tip 1: Auto Attack & Auto Skill
Just double click or double tap the skill button!

* Once you get enough energy you can spam stance (weapon) skills endlessly.
* Press a different skill or click once to deactivate.
* Can dodge with most but not all skills on autospam. Test each as you go!

-=Tip 2: Main Stats & Passive Tree Nodes for Leveling

* Strength: Flat Damage
* Endurance: Energy Regen (enough to spam a Stance skill)
* Warstrike (Damage) > Infinite Wind (Energy) > Colossal Force
  (Strength aka Damage)

These are blessings, they activate on hit.
This combo gets you cooking in the early game!

-=Tip 3: Gearing and Crafting While Leveling
While leveling DO utilize crafting - a small handful of crafts will make a
huge difference - BUT don’t go overboard. Recognize that most things will be
replaced after a few more rupture levels.

* Raw +Damage
* Strength
* Energy Regen (till you can sustain your preferred skill)
* Crit chance + Crit Damage
* One life regen modifier can work wonders early game

Focus on revealing all 4 modifiers on an item, and check each mod to see if
you can switch to the priority stats. Only bother upgrading raw damage and
perhaps an energy regen if needed.

If you get stuck on a boss or level THEN upgrade all your unfinished items
for a big power boost and crush em.

-=Tip 4: Trying Different Weapons / Stances
"Stance" refers to weapon type. Don’t be afraid to try the different stances -
they are all viable and used on ladder. It’s mostly about finding one you find
fun or comfortable with some consideration as to range and how you activate your
offhand skills. Finding a stance and skill you enjoy using is the most important
thing and only you can figure that one out.

Don’t fret about releveling a stance’s mastery tree - it’s very quick to catch
up and unlock things.

Stance mastery levels are based on KILLS not XP, each kill has a chance to give
a level. It can feel a bit random because it is.
If you really want to level a new stance quickly head to a lower level rupture
where you can kill quickly.

-=Tip 5: Easily Collect All the Offhands You Need!
Mousing over the main continent levels shows their rewards - you can EASILY go
and get any offhand skill you need by doing the rupture that lists that skill.
Wanna try a new skill, go get the whole set in a rupture!

Since level doesn’t affect offhand gear this even works at endgame.

-=Tip 6: Offhand Skill Scaling is Powerful! (Why Not to Scale Weapon Damage)
Weapon hit damage does work in the early game but quickly drops off compared to
the massive damage scaling you can achieve with offhands. The idea is to use
your weapon stance attack skill to activate and scale your offhand skills.

Offhands are Triggered on Hit
* Make sure you’re hitting often enough to trigger on cooldown.

Offhands Stack
* Not only will they increase damage but each item with the same skill lowers
  their cooldown. You can mix it up a bit early on, but raw power currently
  favors stacking the same skill to beenfit from scaling.
* The dev has mentioned they plan on changing this up a bit in the future with
  modifiers and skill effects that encourage using mixed powers.

Purple (Legendary) Offhands Gain an Enchantment
* Easy to craft any offhand up to purple and select 1 of 2 enchantments.
* They generally stack as well so get them all enchanted.
* These enchantment powers often scale the power level dramatically.
* Ferocity of Wolves for example has a power "Wolves Gain damage for Each Leap"
  and "Wolves jump Three more times" - you can stack the leap count!

Crit and Crit Damage Applies
* Even stance specific crit/critdmg!

Weapon Stance Skill Damage Multiplier Scales Off hand Skills Created by the Hit
* "280% Normal Attack Damage Bonus" applies to skills created from that hit.

Weapon Stance Damage on Gear Does Not Apply

"Increased damage with one handed" does not apply to secondary.

-=Tip 7: What to Do if Stuck
If you get stuck on a boss or rupture level then try the following:

* Finish crafting your current gear
* Grab any missing rupture cards and use the research table for free levels
* Try a new offhand skill
* Grab a couple levels and upgrades in the rupture before you got stuck.
* You are never really stuck as even failed attempts give XP, gems and resources
  to upgrade.
