How to Defeat Spider Queen:

Start off by throwing your katana and firing all arrows into
her, then just circle strafe but instead of using the rocket
launcher use the shotgun, it’s too easy to damage yourself with
the rockets and it forces you to keep your distance, while the
shotgun has no such issues. Doesn’t really matter which one you
use, but on Hell I found the pump action preferable since you’ll
waste less shells if you don’t get a clean shot.
Ignore the little spiders, you should be able to outrun them and
can kill them very quickly later on if you need to. Every now and
again consider throwing the katana and using your arrows again,
they do decent damage and save a bit of ammo. Once she shrieks and
spawns in the big spiders, pop your bullet time and rocket them
down asap, before going back to focusing on the boss.
If she spawns a second wave of large spiders you’ll probably take
some damage due to the lack of bullet time, but you wont have taken
much/any up to this point, so you should be fine as long as you kill
them quickly. Just make sure to focus them as soon as they spawn while
continuing to circle the boss.
If you run out of shells, switch to smg’s, if you run out of bullets
then you can finish her off with rockets, at that point she should be
very low on health anyway.
Infinite ammo:

* Open the game, load a level and press ENTER.
* Type in the following text:
infinite ammo
* Press ENTER after typing the text.
* You should see a message "infinite ammo True" after entering the code.
* Note that changing the level or loading the game disables the cheat.
* Luckily, you can copy-paste the cheat using CTRL+C and CTRL+V keys.
* To copy the typed text while in the game, type it in, hold SHIFT and
keep the left arrow depressed until the whole text is highlighted, then
press CTRL+C to copy it.
* After that, you simply need to press ENTER, then press CTRL+V to paste it.
* This way you can quickly reenable the cheat if you load a save or progress
to another level.
Infinite upgrade crystals, armor and health on Ubuntu:

* Install a memory scan tool for Linux, called GameConqueror:
* sudo apt-get install -y gameconqueror
* Launch Dread Templar, then find and open the installed package
(GameConqueror).
* Type in your root password when it asks you, then load the level.
* Select the DreadTemplar.exe process (hotkey: CTRL+F).
* Choose the "int16" data type, and turn the slider below to maximize
the search scope.
* Now type in the exact value you want to change, be it health, armor or
upgrade crystals.
* Once it's done scanning, change the value in the game (ie. get hit for
health and armor, reset or use the upgrade crystal at the upgrade shrine),
and type in the new value.
* Repeat until you get only one address; it shouldn't take more than a few tries.
* Once you've found it, change it into whatever you want. You can set 20000
for health and armor, 9999 for upgrade crystals and so on. Value of upgrade
crystals is saved independently of your regular save games, so you don't
need to save your game if you change themm.
* But for health and armor, you do need to save the game.
Note that reloading a save changes the address which means you need to find
and change the value without cancelling the current game by loading another save.
