Useful Tips:

Make sure to use Consider (the eye button) multiple times, placing
your journal (the only item you start with) into it, as well as
Elements of the Soul. Consider can be used on just about any “card”
in the game (cards from your trays, or items in the house).
Eventually, Talk (Lips) should appear. One of your Elements of the
Soul will be suitable for calling for help.
Then, Talk to the man who arrives, and also provide the Address of
your friend.
Then, click on the location to unlock the village, and use the
“Assistance” card of the man who is now willing to help you.
Always make sure to click on empty slots and read the tooltips of
all the icons that appear in the info windows in the upper right.
They’ll tell you what’s allowed in slots and a bit more of how
things work. Items also have plenty of icons that tell you a bit
about how to use with them.
How to Unlock Every Room Via Save Editing:

This guide teaches you how to edit your save file in order to
unlock all the rooms.

Ever had the frustration of unable to open any rooms for in-game weeks
because you can’t meet the requirements of the room aspect? Or finding
it annoying that your helpers refuse to talk to you at night whining
about it being too late even though you’ve literally just hired them
two seconds ago? Well, time to do some save editing!
-=Locating Your Save File=-
* Your save should be here:
C:\Users[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Weather Factory\Book of Hours
* For Mac the save files should be here:
/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Weather Factory/Book of Hours
-=Edit Your Save=-
* Super important!
* Make a backup of your save before doing any editing so you won’t lose
your entire save if something go wrong.
* You should be able to open your save file with a notepad/text editor or
similar applications.
* Find
* "IsShrouded": true
* Replace all with
* "IsShrouded": false
* Note that this only reveals all the rooms, they are not unlocked yet.
* Next find
* "IsSealed": true
* Replace all with
* "IsSealed": false
* Press save and now you can freely access every room.
* Note that you have to unlock the Gatehouse room (The first room unlocked
with the key from Keeper’s Lodge) before you edit the save for it to work.
Hunting Tips and Explanation:
-----------------------------
The process starts being profitable with a skill at level 3, where you obtain
4 lessons and the skill resets to level 1. You would then only need to use 2
of these lessons (supplemented with memories) to upgrade the skill back to
level 3, and 2 more lessons remain to be used for something else (or to
upgrade the same skill above level 3).
This is much more efficient when starting with a skill at level 4 or 5, but
requires a bit more preparation to be able to quickly spin up enough memories.
-=How It Works=-
It’s the number of lessons plus memories needed to upgrade from level 1 to
level N, minus 1.
Upgrading a skill from level 1 to level 2 takes 2 memories/lessons, upgrading
from 2 to 3 takes 3 memories/lessons, for the total of 5.
Subtracting 1, we get 4, the number of lessons obtained from de-leveling a
level 3 skill.
So a level 4 skill gives 8 lessons (4 more than 4), and a level 5 skill gives
13 lessons (5 more than 8).
