Be Aware of Scope Glare:
------------------------
Whenever you aim down your sniper’s scope in Battlefield 6, you’ll
give away your position in the form of a massive white glint. The
example above shows what it looks like when other players do it. It’s
extremely noticeable, making it easy to spot enemy snipers! This is
allegedly getting toned down in the full release, but it will still
remain as a feature. Of course, this does also mean that you’re
susceptible to this, too. As such, you’ll want to minimize how much
you use your scope. Remember, the glint is only visible to other
players while you’re actively aiming down the scope! Be smart about
when to use it and when not to, so that you don’t give away your
position.
Maximizing Assault Class Ammo:
------------------------------
If you're playing the Assault Class in Battlefield 6, you might have
noticed that your ammo count for your primary weapon is a lot less than
usual. This new change is due to the weapon sling feature, which allows
you to carry an extra weapon like a shotgun or DMR, which means your
ammo is split between these two weapons. You can easily change this by
equipping a second gadget instead of the second weapon. This will direct
your full ammo count to your primary weapon, allowing you to spawn with
the maximum amount of ammo.
Sniper Glint:
-------------
Understanding how the Sniper Glint works in Battlefield 6 is crucial
for staying alive in large-scale game modes. Usually, the sniper glint
looks like a flashlight being used from a long range. If the glint is
a white light, that means you'll get downed with two shots or a headshot
from the sniper rifle. However, if the glint has a rainbow flare, it
suggests that the sniper rifle is in its one-shot sweet spot. In that
range, you'll die from a single shot of the sniper rifle. So, make sure
to keep your distance from recon class opponents to stay alive for
longer periods in Battlefield 6.
Using sidearms:
---------------
Using your sidearm instead of reloading is an age-old tactic employed
by veteran gamers. Reloading in-between combat can make all the
difference in getting out dead or alive. It is advisable to switch to
your sidearm and keep the pressure on the adversary instead of letting
them recuperate and restrategize while you are busy reloading. Don’t
allow any breathing space for your opponent in between the combat.
The One-Shot Sweet Spot:
------------------------
When using a sniper, there’s a bit of a changing sweet spot to the one-
shot kill area on your enemies. The further away your target is, the
larger the sweet spot becomes. To keep it simple: it’s easier to one-shot
enemies who are further away. More specifically, enemies that are further
than about 60 meters will take more damage to their neck area. This also
means you don’t necessarily need to go for the head, as shots to the neck
and upper torso will deal enough damage for instakills at ranges past 60
or so meters. As a bonus, you can also tell when you’re in an enemy
sniper’s sweet spot. When you are, the glare from their scope will have
a rainbow tint to it. It can be hard to see in the heat of combat, but
that’s your cue to get into cover ASAP!
