Assassin's Creed Shadows

Hints and Tips:
---------------
Submitted by: David K.

-= Hide bodies =-
Hide corpses after assassinations. Bodies left in the open raise local suspicion
and make stealth harder. A visible body can also lure guards into another kill if
you stay ready.

-= Loot fallen enemies =-
Not every body drops loot, but check them anyway. Rewards include crafting
resources, rations, and sellable items for extra Mon.

-= Hideout pet colors =-
Pet wildlife you meet in the world to unlock that animal at your Hideout. You
only unlock the color variant you actually petted, so track down the coat pattern
you want before assuming it is unlocked.

-= Save scouts for smuggling =-
Each season you can deploy scouts to mark objectives, but large smuggling stashes
need scouts available when you find them. Keep a few scouts in reserve instead of
spending them all on map pins so hideout projects stay funded.

-= Shadow Projects and Anomalies =-
Unlock Shadow Projects by entering the Animus breach east of Amagasaki Castle in
Izumi Settsu. Complete daily Anomalies for data fragments (roughly 600-800 each)
and spend them on the active project track for gear and engraving rewards.

-= Equipped skill limits =-
You can only have two weapon skills and two character skills active at once. Plan
loadouts around your current weapon type, since many weapon skills only work with
matching gear.

-= Hideout study =-
Build the study at your hideout to gain an extra scout and shrink quest search
zones by about 25%. Further study upgrades add more scouts and keep smuggling
options open when you find large resource stashes.

-= Allies and dojo =-
Six allies unlock through story choices and trust during their quests. Train them
at the hideout dojo to unlock passives, then bring two allies into the field at
once (one stealth-focused and one combat ally covers most situations).
