For the New Time Mages out there:
---------------------------------
Written By Redrum Jackle

A little guide with the flare of a little roleplay, tips, and
covering some mechanics of the game.

-=The Beginning of Your Story....=-
(This is the guide, yes it will be story like. Just enjoy)

So you saw the game somewhere, liked what you saw decided to download it and
start playing only to find out... that it's hard right off the startup...
Don't worry though, hopefully by reading this you can figure out a strategy
you wish to employ. Though I will point out what you should focus on if you
have not already. Well let's get down to it.

First I want to let you know there are technically 10 areas in total you can
fight in. 9 on the map, and the I.D.D. or otherwise known as Daily Dungeon
to keep things simple. I will tell you now that the forest is the easiest
place to get cleared and start running deeper in. Other than the Daily Dungeon
each other dungeon scales in difficulty but also in rewards. Don't forget to
run the daily once a day though... but not now, you need to be tougher.

So you want to get to those fancy other areas? It will come in time.... wait
are you claiming I pulled a pun? Perhaps I did, we are playing a game based
around time after all.

Anyway you probably bought your first hero, well I want you to take a moment
and familiarize yourself with the character you bought. They should already
be in your party so the quickest way is to look at the bottom left of your
screen when in the town screen. Click your character in the party and then
look at their stats. This is the character screen, and you can remove them
from your party by clicking the bed or adding them by clicking the plus sign
that would appear instead of the bed. The trashcan icon will delete your
recruit, just a heads up no returns what gets deleted is gone... remember
that or make the mistake multiple times your choice.

You see that star in the stats spot? Don't worry I will let you know how to
unlock them in just a bit. First I want you to take a quick look across the
stats, nothing grand right? Depends, now let's look at the skills on the right.
Your character should have two skills, the top is an activate skill and the
other is passive.

Activate skills are ones you or your character need to activate in battle
while the passive are always in play regardless and Some will even stay
active outside your party. I will not spoil that bit, but you will eventually
find that special character later.

Get into the habit of checking every new character's skills. This is not a
joke, you might unlock a character that could help you past a troubling spot
or build a team focused around surviving the bee timeline. Either way you need
to strategize just a bit, nothing to worry about in your first couple minutes
of playing but keep it in mind.

Either you have the Soldier or the Knight. Soldier's passive can save them
from MULTIPLE death blows, but you are gambling at 50% and without high luck
stats... it's just 50/50. But might be something to consider. Now let's talk
about the Heavy Knight's passive, fortification. A bonus of 20% Defense to all
other members of the party. Clutch for beefing up those squishy medics for
early game.

Your first goal, Clear the forest. You will fail multiple times, each time
your character gains exp, equipment drops, and money. Use everything to your
advantage because you have nothing at the start. So do not set your loot in
the options to sell it all. But you can sell loot you do not want to keep for
more money. Just be careful again, the money might not be worth more than the
value the item can bring to the battle.

Wait you beat the forest finally? Then that means your character should be
pretty decent in level! Quick check their status page and look at those stars..

If the stars do not show anything yet then you have not reached the required
level yet. I believe they start at 10, then you get another for 25, 50, 100,
250/300... so on and so forth. But you will not need to worry about that yet,
just know that these are important.

Quick go to town, click the book, now you should see a character and it's info
as well as mastery bonuses. Wait did you see that additional note? The one
about applying to ALL Heroes? Yes... that's what I am talking about. Each of
those stars is one of those mastery benefits per character. Do they add up?
Oh yes they do, in fact go click the blue button called totals to see your
current overall bonuses.

These bonuses continue to grow as you unlock new characters by buying them
for the first time, and leveling them up to their required mastery levels.
This bonus is a permanent stat boost for all your recruits, and is pretty
important so keep it in mind.

Oh yea you beat the forest, you can go back to town. Pat yourself on the back
because the hardest part is over. Might have taken awhile, but it only gets
easier now that you've built up a little bit.

In town you will see a hole in the forest above the tavern that wasn't there before,
click it and try and find a Ranger. Recruit them! The more the better, the goal is
their ability.... Are you asking me what their ability is to make them so vital?
Hah... if you followed my instructions from earlier you would know Just Why you will
want a team of them. I will leave that up to you on discovering why and how to ensure
that ability procs as much as possible.

Now once you have your ranger(s) equipped start hitting the forest again.... Wait
you saw that? two new areas in the forest? Well those are optional bosses for bonus
Gems and TM. It is only a boss battle, you can do it anytime and if you feel
confident do it, otherwise click the forest again. Now you'll notice on the left
side of your screen where chests will start popping up more often... yes... allow
your rangers to auto battle their way to endless treasures!

Wait you died already? It happens, just keep going and equipping the best gear
possible... Eventually you might reach stage 400+ in the forest!

Wait you did not know about the awesome names of enchanted items? Don't worry you
will get familiar, just throw it into storage if it doesn't look good at the moment
so your inventory isn't full all the time. Oh while we're at it make sure to go
into your options and change it to send all your loot to storage first. Believe me...
it's better this way. Then you can venture through and learn the secrets of what the
names of those enchants can tell you....

-The end of the beginner story.-

In summary gear and characters will be your focus early game. Do not stress about

Epics, Legendaries, etc.

After you've gotten a grasp of how to item farm and can steadily do so there are key
things you will want to find and I will tell you why in my Quick Reference or Tips.
Just know you can find a more in depth guide on reddit or online. I am just trying
to help you right now by making things simple.

-=Quick Reference=-
When should you time warp?
* Preferably when it benefits you, just use your own judgement. Because you will lose
gear that does not traverse through time with you, and all those levels until you've
unlocked an ability later on. For your first few runs, try item farming for 'Eternal'
or 'of Time' items that can help make things much easier in future warps.

What should you focus on first?
* Gear, Ranger Team, and more Gear. Your goal is a full outfit of gear that will go
with you when you warp. That is your first goal, the next should be to alchemize more
of that gear into even better gear. Want gear that will make your game progression
much smoother? Focus on getting four full sets of gear 'Eternal' 'of Replenishing'.
Yes a full set.. that means shield, body armor, helmet, boots, even rings which are
rare but can be found with Eternal.

What about weapons?
* Focus on getting any weapon that will travel with you early game. Once you have them
start looking specifically for 'Massive' and 'Of Time' because you will want to merge
those to help you progress easier. Why Massive? Well don't you want to kill More Mobs
faster? Find that weapon and look at the ability. There is another way but you're
just starting so do not worry, this is faster.

How do I do Alchemy?
Unlock the building, then get three items with enchants you want to make into one and
put them into your inventory. Now two of those items need to have the same enchant. This
means the third item that does not have that enchant will get the one that is on the
other two. For instance you have a shield of replenishing but need eternal so it can
travel with you. Get two shields with eternal in their name and take all three to the
alchemist. Now put them in all three slots in any order, AS LONG as they are the right
ones. Remember which ones, because if you do it to the wrong items there is no going
back. You can reset the choice by leaving and returning to the alchemy shop. Again
order does not matter, only the items. Two matching enchants and the third can be no
enchants or have a enchant. In fact if you match the prefix and suffix enchants on both
of the matching ones, the third I believe will have both in the end. Allows for you to
migrate those enchants to better gear later on. Remember the enchant you want to add
takes two items of that type having that enchant to migrate it this way.

* Again... To show you simply to match.
* Eternal Shield
* Eternal Shield
* Shield of Replenishing
* Will turn into... Eternal Shield of Replenishing.

-=Tips=-
New and chose not to read the part above the Quick Reference? Go back and read it. There
are no shortcuts to becoming a good time manipulator... come back when you have done so.

Read the -Quick Reference- Area if you haven't already.

Read what each character's abilities are. For instance the Heavy Knight's passive will
give bonus defense. Nice, but might not be what you are looking for. Is that medic dying
too much? Avoid healers by using gear with Replenishing and the green shaman rings.
Allows you to have another attacker right?

You can tell your characters to defend completely or after their ability. Go into the
character menu for that character and you see the brain button? Click that and now start
changing the defend when option. When leveling new character I prefer 'when not using
skill' and then set the skill use to 'never'. This will set them in a state of defense
only. You can also change the tactics just a little bit for your auto battle this way.

Your goal is being able to complete the the dimension by going all the way to the castle
area and beating it. You can progress to another dimension after if you want, but it
might be a better idea to farm some TM and get your statues leveled up a little bit.
Specifically your money earned, exp, and defense statues. Choice is yours on what you
really want to prioritize but know defense means you will survive easier, money means
you can upgrade easier after farming some gold. Exp... well that's to help your
characters level faster to get better stats.

Level up your gear, 'Lucrative' and 'Greed' items are handy for getting money but there
are a few characters that can help as well in this area. There is one special timeline
that can give you lots more gold. Choose when to farm for gold and when to grind. Doing
both is half as effective as being focused on the goal. Blacksmith those items past l
evel 10 and you may have enough TM to raise their tier level for bonus stats through
the manasmith. It costs TM and Gold to tier them up though, you do not need to worry
about losing enchants it just resets the level back to 0. Then hit the blacksmith again
to level them back up.

Level up as many different characters as you can to get your overall stat bonuses up.
Preferably after you have replenishing gear to keep them alive through a leveling run.
You may want to get some machines unlocked once you see them pop into town. Upgrade
their place till you can recruit a Golem. This guy makes leveling your other guys much
easier due to his ability alone. Otherwise try your best.

Save your dimension tokens/points that are specifically for statues, or not. There are
two dimension statues that make it very worth the wait vs spending 1 or 2. These ones
are pricey though and worth the wait. Statue of Worlds at 7 dimension tokens, and Statue
of Reincarnation at 5 DTs. The world will allow you to choose better timelines on your
terms, reincarnation allows you to save character progress and training points which
can be very handy. Be careful though, read the reincarnation statue's warnings carefully
regarding time warping because if you make a mistake because you lost your party due to
alternative timelines you cannot go back unless you backed up your save. There will be
times you will sacrifice them though.

Do not go into a higher dimension without a set of gear with 'Eternal' or 'Of Time' for
your entire party. It will not be fun.

For alternate timelines... avoid ones that limit you to 1 hero, level 1, and poison
your entire party with the inclusion of bees being a common enemy. You don't believe
me? Ok go and try, you can always turn it into a normal dimension anyway. Just know
those particular timelines are VERY challenging. Avoid them to reduce wasting time.

I know the bonus is awesome but if you are not ready they will beat you up.

I may add more another time, but this is for everyone new on steam that just wants
a little something to nudge them along.
