Unlimited Denars:
-----------------
To activate this cheat, head to reg_config.txt in your game’s installation folder
and find the line that says cheat_mode = 0. Change the 0 to a 1 and save. Keep in
mind that you’re doing this at your own risk, because this could potentially mess
your files, game, or computer up. Then, when on the inventory screen, hold down
the [CTRL] button and press X. Doing so will score you 1,000 Denars. Do it over
and over again for as many Denars as you want.

Create a godlike character:
---------------------------
1.Start the game with any character history choices you want, this person isnt
important, or use an old one from a previous save.
2.Once you are in control open the character sheet and click Statistics in the
  bottom left.
3.Click Export character.
4.Open "computer/Local disk/Users/"the name you use"/Documents/mount & blade
warband/Characters and open the text file to be edited.
5.From here you can edit your gold and character sheet to your every whim, do NOT
edit the reserved skills as doing so may cause you game to crash. max skills are
10 attributes are 63 weapon skills can only be increased to 460 in game without
  cheats.
6.Open or start a game with a character with the same name as the super character,
open the character sheet and click statistics.
7.Click IMPORT character.
8.Enjoy playing a character with nearly limitless money and never needing to level
  up.

Note: This only permits editing the PC, companions, your army, the world of caladria,
and strangely your PCs gender are all SET in the game, all you are doing is changing
what the hero can do/spend.

Max Stats:
----------
Go into the character screen and click on statistics (bottom-left). Next press
export character go through with all the boxs, close or minimise M&B and use the
search function to find a .txt file with exactly the same name as the character
you exported it should be in:
C:\Users\"_username_"\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\Characters
Edit the stats as you wish and then import your character.

Choosing your faction:
----------------------
Choosing which faction you are going to support is very important in this game,
once you pick one, you are instantly doomed to be dragged into every single war
they decide to have. While there are no real story-related reasons or motivations
to base your choice on, it is important to know which units are provided by the
different factions, seeing as how you are going to be stuck with recruiting them
after your choice.

-=Here is a quick summary of each faction's units=-
* Swadians: The Swadians have a very strong infantry and cavalry army (though the
infantry isn't as good as the Nords) and some units are secretly tagged as having
a horse, thus they do not slow you down on the World Map. Archers are a little
lacking though.

* Nords: The Nord-armies are very efficient powerhouses, capable of both dealing
and taking a lot of damage. Nords are a very infantry-heavy faction with some of
the best units of that type in the entire game, the downside however is that they
also have high wages and training them can take a long time.

* Vaegirs: The Vaegirs have a very balanced army and personally one of my favorites.
A good combination of cavalry and archers is all you need to cut down enemy troops
like they were made out of pie.

* Sarranids: The Sarranids have a very skilled and versatile, but also weak army.
A battle in which you use a Sarranid army is always going to turn into a massacre,
but it's always unclear which side will be the victim.

* Rhodoks: The Rhodoks are by far my least-favorite faction and I can only
recommend them if you are planning to go up against the Khergits. The problem is
that they only have spearmen and a few archers, lacking a cavalry and regular
infantry unit.

* Khergits: The Khergits simply breath cavalry. Every single one of their units
is mounted and even their recruits have a chance of spawning on horseback. This
makes their army very fast on the World Map and quite effective given the right
situation.

* One thing to keep in mind is that, once a region is taken over, it will still
provide units belonging to the faction it originally belong to. If you take over
Sargoth for example, the surrounding villages will still provide you with Nord
Recruit, regardless of the faction that is now in control. This makes it easier
to blend armies.

* I still recommend waiting with this until you can hold a large number of units
though, as mixing Khergits with Nords will only result in a lot of dead cavalry
before the rest of your force arrives.

Change abilities:
-----------------
First, create a new character in the game. Once done, go to the character page
(attributes, etc.) and choose "Statistics" (underneath the character portrait).
Then, click "Export". Once your character has been successfully exported, exit
the game and enter the game folder. The top folder should be "Mount&Blade Warband
Characters". Open this folder and double click the file with your character's name.
Change the values to whatever desired after saving a copy. Go back into the game
and reload your saved game. Go back to the statistics through the character page.
Choose the file that you edited. Load it. Your character now has those abilities.

Endgame: Missing King (Workaround to Get Him Back):
---------------------------------------------------
Written by Toffyfox

When every faction but one is defeated, all fiefs conquered, many people wait to win the
game. But there is no message about honor and victory. The last king of the last remaining
kingdom went missing. Even his own group remarks that he is no where around.
This issue is old as the game and prevented many people from conquering officially the
whole of Calradia.

Here is my unorthodox trick to solve this problem!

-=Solution=-
You conquered everything but one faction remains still in the game. The king of this
faction went missing and even his underlings do not know about his whereabouts.

This occurs very often in this old game and prevents players from winning the campaign.
I got this bug and thought about the problem.

Lords from factions without any fiefs spawn randomly on the map. A king may also do this
but can get stuck in a void and be found nowhere on the map (even with cheating you
can't find him). The A.I. lords of the last faction often do not have any soldiers in
their army, because they do not own fiefs which are required for recruitment.

The solution seems simple: Your remaining enemy needs to conquer one of your fiefs.
The problem: Even an empty castle without a garrison is not likely to be conquered by a
one man A.I. party.

-=Follow These Steps=-
You need to "give" them more troops. This is possible: Enemy lord parties free your
prisoners and recruit them in their army. You need to lose on purpose!

Your heroes are usually very powerful at this state of the game. Temporarly kick them
out of your party.

Deposit all remaining troops in one of your towns or castles.

Take the role of the marshall, because your marshall defends your castles/towns when
someone besieges them (you do not want this at this moment).

Fill all of your prisoner slots with units.

Empty one castle of your choice (remote castles in calm areas are suited best for
this - especially if you can besiege them with ladders).

Wait in your empty castle and wait. One of the remaining A.I.
lords may come soon to take this castle.

Try to catch up with the enemy. A fast horse and a good reaction is key. Some A.I.
lords stand too far away from the castle to catch up with them. Prisoners slow you
down so you are less likely to catch them traditionally. But you can get them if they
stand too close to the besieged castle. The A.I. does not react immediately if you
approch them. The window to catch them is short but in most cases enough to surprise them.

Beware: The A.I. lord might be not ready for battle (health is too low). This results
in 0/1 army size. The A.I. lord will lose the battle in this case.

Fight with the A.I. lord but actually do not fight him. Let him beat you up.
You are going to become his prisoner and he frees every prisoner you had. This will
boost up his party-size and the lord is very likely to conquer the besieged castle.

After you freed yourself (just wait), wait some time. The enemy king will respawn in
this newly conquered castle.

Crush him and his allies and become ruler of Calradia.

Note: You can do many of these steps in a different order.

Lady's Champion:
----------------
Written by Neon

It is very useful to become a lady’s champion due to her ability to grant you relationship
points with lords of her faction.

-=One Possibility=-
Watch the in-game Log for the message of a lords defeat and capture. Then check in the
encyclopedia for entries of female characters. You can bring up a menue for both with ”Q”.

If you happen to find a lord who is captured and also has a woman labelled ”wive” or ”mother”
you can go to the lords fief ( if its a castle or town), the location of said woman.

She may offer you a quest to free her husband and thereby gain relationship points with her.

Free her husband ( conquer the castle he is in or talk to the lord who captured him ).

This way you will be able to win her favor and increase your relation with ervery lord of
her faction with whom you have negative relationship points by:

* 1 Point  - 1000 Denars
* 2 Points - 2000 Denars
* 3 Points - 3000 Denars
