StarRupture Cheats

StarRupture

Hints and Tips:
---------------
Submitted by: David K.

-= Survival (food and water) =-
The tutorial skips hunger and hydration. Early on, harvest Polifruit shrubs on
the plains near the lander pond for 11 calories each. Pick Hydrobulbs (tall blue-
sack plants) beside water for 15 hydration. Right-click items in inventory and
choose Use. After you build a Recipe Station, craft Aqua Fluid (Hydrobulbs + Star
Tears) and Calorie Fluid (Polifruit + Star Tears) for better recovery. Star Tears
drop in rocky hills east and west of the start; Grubblers sit on gold trees east
of the lander beacon.

-= Power grid =-
There are no power cables. Generators such as solar panels must touch the Base
Core or production machines on shared foundations. Extend power with rails,
platform floors, or bridges because every walkway conducts electricity. Ore
Excavators cannot be powered by placing a generator beside them alone; run rails
from a powered smelter line. Build excavators first, add smelters and launchers,
then generators touching the chain, and bridge everything with rails. Add more
generation if a remote line stays dark.

-= Stay in The Crater early =-
The starting Crater has dense Titanium and Wolfram, flat building space, and
weaker early rupture events. Expand with Base Core Amplifiers instead of
relocating after ten hours. Keep the Base Core central, wall the perimeter before
scaling, and zone smelters away from fabricators to limit conveyor spaghetti.
Hold 20-30 percent spare power before you add the next machine.

-= Production ratios =-
Default mining throughput is about 60 items per minute per Ore Excavator. Pair
one Smelter per excavator on the same ore. One Fabricator per smelter works for
rods and wire; heavier recipes such as Rotors and Stators need multiple
fabricators or slower feeders. Place Storage Depot buffers between stages to
absorb rate mismatches. A common mid-game choke is three excavators feeding five
smelters, leaving two smelters idle.

-= Blueprint pickups =-
Rotor and Tube schematics sit in a blue chest on the ground floor of Selenian
Mining Base (SMB Purple Haze) northwest of the lander; climb the rear rocks to
the upper floor because the front door is locked. Bring a pistol and plenty of
ammo. Stator schematic is in a blue chest on the top floor of Griffith's Research
Outpost (Lemon Souls) almost directly north of the lander; enter the two-story
GRIFFITS BLUECORP habitat, then jump across to the elevated one-story building.
Stabilizer schematic is in a blue chest atop the tower at Claywood Research
Outpost (Grey Owl) northeast of the lander; assault rifle and grenades help clear
vermin on the climb. Helium-3 vents are large purple geysers east of the lander;
unlock the Helium-3 Extractor at Selenian corporation level 6, not a standard Ore
Excavator. Submit every schematic at the Recipe Station with Data Points and
crafted parts before the Fabricator can build the item. Electronics schematic is
in a blue chest atop Claywood Grey Owl outpost (northeast hills, same tower climb
as the Stabilizer). Bring infection-resistance plasm for vermin clouds; Recipe
Station unlock needs Synthetic Silicon, Inductors, Stators, and Data Points, then
craft Electronics in the Furnace. Synthetic Silicon schematic is in a blue chest
on the ground floor of Griffith Mythic Cry outpost far north; route past Grey Owl
and calcium fields with assault gear. Redleaf abandoned base (far northeast)
holds Valve, Turbine, and Electromagnetic Coil schematics behind three security
keycards plus an override card.

-= Factory components without chests =-
Inductor and Impeller have no dedicated world chest. Automate calcium, titanium,
and wolfram, unlock Furnace recipes at the Recipe Station, and craft them on
production lines. Electronics gates Selenian level 8 and unlocks the Mega Press
for Valves and similar mass-production parts.

-= Calcium and helium mining =-
Calcium Ore appears as large sandy ledges north and east of the lander (visible
on the map after Moon Energy level 3). Do not rely on meteorites for bulk
calcium. Place a Base Core near the vein, power it, set an Ore Excavator on the
deposit, and rail output to a smelter or Orbital Cargo Launcher. Helium-3 uses
the same remote-base pattern with Helium-3 Extractors on purple vents; additional
vents sit north past the mountains.

-= Corporation progression =-
Six corporations unlock after the tutorial. Level them by delivering goods
through an Orbital Cargo Launcher or by spending Data Points at a Corporate
Terminal. Keep OCL commissions running whenever you leave base.

-= Early priorities =-
* Moon Energy level 3 - Map (explore blueprint sites and ore patches)
* Griffits Blue level 2 - UPP-7 pistol and ammo
* Selenian level 2 - Fabricator (rods, wire, rotors, stators)
* Selenian level 4 - Furnace (glass and advanced materials)
* Selenian level 6 - Helium-3 Extractor
* Clever Robotics level 4 - Building Drone (easier base expansion) Reserve Data
Points for Recipe Station unlocks; brute-forcing every corporation level can
block mid-game crafting. Verify each delivery in your terminal before you
  commit stock.

-= Mid and late Selenian =-
* Level 7 - Glass or Synthetic Silicon deliveries
* Level 8 - Electronics (unlocks Mega Press)
* Level 9 - Refinery and Sulfur Extractor; place sulfur extractors only after a
rupture clears corrosive air around sulfur veins
* Level 10 - Assembler
* Level 11 - Scanner

-= Rupture cycles =-
The HUD rupture meter tracks planet-wide wipe events. Shelter inside your base or
a refuge before the wave hits; open-field exploration during a rupture is lethal.
Resource nodes reshuffle after each cycle, so gather critical ores and set
commissions before the alert fires.

-= Combat and co-op =-
Blueprint runs and helium trips spawn ranged vermin; craft the Reaper pistol
early and carry healing items. Co-op shares one world; rupture waves and
infection still threaten unwalled bases. External trainers or memory editors risk
corrupted saves and are not supported in multiplayer sessions.
