Punch Club Cheats

Punch Club

Hints and Tips:
---------------
Submitted by: David K.

-= Protect the next fight before chasing one more stat point =-
Strength, Agility, and Stamina slowly decay as days pass, and training also spends
hunger and energy. Schedule hard training close to the next league fight, then arrive
with health, hunger, energy, and mood restored. A small stat gain is wasted when
exhaustion or hunger reduces your fight readiness.

-= Train one build instead of three unfinished builds =-
Choose either Strength with supporting Stamina, or Agility with supporting Stamina.
Raising all three attributes evenly costs more time and increases daily decay.
Stamina remains useful to every build because it improves health and energy recovery
during a fight.

-= Understand what each attribute changes =-
Strength increases damage but also raises the energy cost of attacks. Agility
improves accuracy and supports Dodge. Stamina increases health and combat energy
recovery. When a strong fighter keeps missing, add Agility or use a more accurate
attack instead of pushing Strength higher.

-= Use Memory skills to create permanent floors =-
Daily decay cannot pull an attribute below a floor protected by its Memory skill.
Raise the chosen attribute to the required value, buy the Memory skill, then switch
training to another attribute. This prevents several days of work from disappearing
while you repair the rest of the build.

-= Stay on one machine until efficiency falls =-
Travel and repeated gym entry waste time and money. Enter with high hunger and
energy, then remain on the machine that trains the required attribute until its gain
rate drops. Move to a second useful machine while the first recovers instead of
leaving after every short session.

-= Match the machine to the build =-
Use the Bench Press or Parallel Bars for focused Strength, the Speed Bag for focused
Agility, and the Treadmill for focused Stamina. Jump Rope combines Agility and
Stamina, Squat Rack combines Strength and Stamina, and the Heavy Bag or Tire spreads
gains across several attributes.

-= Buy food for the next activity, not just the hunger bar =-
Large food restores hunger efficiently, while smaller meals are useful for topping
off before work or training. Keep several meals in the refrigerator before spending
the last cash on gym time. If health is also low, choose food that restores both
health and hunger instead of sleeping through the fight day.

-= Work in long blocks and travel less =-
Construction is available early, while Pizza Delivery becomes a stronger routine
after its cafe introduction. Start work with enough hunger and energy to finish a
long block. Combining shopping, work, food, sleep, and training into fewer trips
preserves more of the day for useful actions.

-= Earn skill points even when attributes are temporarily stable =-
Attributes decay, but purchased skills do not. Enter every available league fight
that the build can survive, and use Silver's daily pad work or sparring for extra
skill points. Use pad work until sparring victories are reliable; a lost spar gives
less value and may delay the next scheduled fight.

-= Do not buy every cheap skill on the way =-
Each purchased skill raises the cost of later skills. Select one attack, one defense,
and only the utility needed to reach the chosen style. Extra move slots have no value
when they force you to equip weak actions or delay the technique that makes the build
work.

-= Rebuild the move set between rounds =-
Fights run automatically after you choose the equipped skills, but the loadout can be
changed between rounds. Inspect the opponent's attacks, defense, energy, and
remaining health. Remove expensive attacks when energy collapses, replace Dodge
against a highly accurate opponent, or add a rest action before the next round
starts.

-= Treat zero combat energy as an emergency =-
Every attack and many defenses consume energy. Reaching zero causes a knockdown and
leaves the fighter vulnerable while recovering. Reduce the number of active attacks,
use a lower-cost move, or add an energy-saving utility when Strength has pushed
attack costs beyond what Stamina can restore.

-= Way of the Tiger: win through accuracy and evasion =-
Tiger favors Agility, Dodge, fast attacks, and counter effects. Keep Strength low
enough that energy costs remain manageable and maintain enough Stamina to survive
missed dodges. Use one efficient kick or strike rather than filling every slot with
attacks that compete for the same energy.

-= Way of the Bear: balance power with accuracy and breath =-
Bear favors heavy punches and short, damaging exchanges. High Strength without
Agility misses too often, while high Strength without Stamina exhausts the fighter
after a few actions. Raise the supporting attributes whenever the fighter loses
because attacks miss or energy reaches zero first.

-= Way of the Turtle: drain the opponent before committing =-
Turtle favors Stamina, Block, and energy control. Use the health and recovery
advantage to survive early rounds, then increase pressure after the opponent starts
tiring. Avoid stacking expensive attacks that abandon the defensive advantage before
the energy battle is won.

-= Enter a fight with all four condition bars prepared =-
Low health shortens the fight, low energy weakens the action cycle, hunger limits
recovery, and poor mood reduces activity efficiency. Stop training early enough to
eat and sleep before a scheduled bout. A lower stat with full condition bars is often
safer than a last-minute gain followed by exhaustion.

-= Use the fight calendar as the center of the routine =-
When the fight icon announces a scheduled bout, work backward from that event.
Reserve the final preparation block for sleep, food, and a focused training session.
Do paid work immediately after a fight, when the next deadline is furthest away and
temporary stat decay is easier to repair.

-= Keep Ultimate Fighting separate from league recovery =-
Underground fights can provide more opportunities for skill points and money, but
injuries consume health and recovery time. Do not enter while already hurt or
immediately before an important league match. Restore health first and keep enough
food and cash for the next training cycle.

-= Use the Rookie League and Bar route for different goals =-
League fights advance the legitimate boxing route, while Bar and underground events
open other contacts and opportunities. Continue the route that supports the desired
story branch instead of accepting every event automatically. Keep a separate save
before major criminal or professional commitments.

-= Start The Dark Fist events from home =-
The free expansion begins with new activity around day 6 and uses the suitcase at
home to signal crime events. Return home near the start of a new day and check the
suitcase when it glows. If the chain does not advance, reload a save from before the
expected event and spend the day transition at home.

-= Do not follow old cash-carrying rules =-
Early guides warned against carrying a specific amount of money because of muggers,
but later patches changed that behavior. Manage cash around food, gym fees, and
equipment purchases instead of treating an old robbery threshold as a current rule.

-= Keep a branch save before late story commitments =-
Punch Club has legitimate, criminal, and other branching outcomes. Create a separate
save before accepting a major route commitment, leaving for a long story trip, or
entering the final sequence. That file preserves alternative choices without
repeating the full training grind.

Secrets:
--------
-= Daily training with Silver =-
Silver offers pad work and sparring as a repeatable source of skill points. Use pad
work while the fighter is weak, then switch to sparring after wins become reliable.
This converts a daily gym visit into permanent progression even when the main
attributes are near their decay limit.

-= Pizza Delivery access =-
Buying food at the market and continuing the market and cafe conversations opens
Pizza Delivery. The job combines better income with a route that later connects to
additional fights. Revisit both locations after the first grocery purchases if only
Construction is available.

-= Ultimate Fighting invitation =-
After early Rookie League progress, inspect the gym training area and speak with the
large lifter when the event appears. Completing the interaction opens the underground
fighting contact. Heal before using that league because its injuries can erase
several days of preparation.

Solutions:
----------
-= Fight preparation procedure =-
1. Check the fight calendar and stop paid work before the final preparation block.
2. Restore hunger with stored food and recover health before heavy training.
3. Sleep until energy is high enough for one focused gym session.
4. Train the primary attribute, then the supporting Stamina or Agility machine.
5. Return home, top off hunger, and stop activities that would cross the deadline.
6. Before round one, equip one attack, one defense, and only essential utility.

-= Stat-decay recovery procedure =-
1. Identify which attribute has fallen below the build's functional requirement.
2. Cancel optional fights that would produce an injury while the build is weak.
3. Fill hunger and energy before paying for a training session.
4. Use a focused machine until the missing attribute returns to its target.
5. Buy the next available Memory skill when its requirement is reached.
6. Resume league and skill-point farming only after the supporting stat is stable.

-= Compact route - First Rookie League cycle =-
1. Complete the opening events and unlock Mick, Silver's Gym, and Construction.
2. Choose Strength plus Stamina or Agility plus Stamina as the training pair.
3. Buy food before spending the remaining money on long gym sessions.
4. Join the Rookie League and use Silver's pad work during each gym visit.
5. Unlock Pizza Delivery through the market and cafe conversations.
6. Spend skill points toward Way of the Bear, Tiger, or Turtle without side
   purchases.
7. Create a branch save before accepting a major professional or criminal route.

-= Compact route - Efficient training week =-
1. Fight first when a scheduled bout is ready and the condition bars are full.
2. Work after the fight while the next deadline is still distant.
3. Shop once for several meals instead of making repeated market trips.
4. Sleep, then train the primary-stat machine until efficiency falls.
5. Switch to Jump Rope or Squat Rack for the supporting Stamina gain.
6. Use Silver's daily training before leaving the gym.
7. End the cycle with food, sleep, and a fight-day check rather than extra work.

-= Compact route - Dark Fist start =-
1. Keep a manual save from before day 6.
2. Return home before the day changes and check the suitcase after waking.
3. Follow the marked crime event without abandoning an imminent league fight.
4. Restore health and energy before each masked encounter.
5. Return home on later event days and inspect the suitcase again.
6. Reload the pre-event save if the first suitcase event never appears.
