MafiaDeath
Hints and Tips:
---------------
Submitted by: David K.
-= Current State - MafiaDeath Is a Live Browser Game =-
MafiaDeath is a persistent browser-based multiplayer RPG, not a downloadable Windows
game. It is still live and active in 2026, so your character, money, points, stats,
inventory, gang state, and progression are stored on the server.
There is no local save file to back up or edit. Use a normal modern browser, sign in
through the official MafiaDeath site, and treat the account itself as your save.
-= First Daily Loop - Collect the Reliable Value Before Grinding =-
A short daily routine prevents easy value from being forgotten. Start with the
activities that reset or require a manual visit, then spend refill points only after
you know what you want to train or level.
1. Open Jobs and Clock In. You receive no daily pay, Work EXP, or job stat gains
unless you clock in that day.
2. Use Search Downtown. You get 100 searches per day, with chances at money, points,
items, rare items, or nothing.
3. Check the Casino. Lucky Dip is once per day, the Money and Points lotteries can
both be entered daily, and the Slot Machine allows up to 250 plays per day.
4. Bank money you do not need on hand before attacking, mugging, travelling, or going
idle.
5. Check the current hourly competition and Dumpster Dive opportunities before
burning large amounts of nerve, energy, or mugging targets.
-= Points - Dealer Points First, Premium Points for Trading =-
MafiaDeath has two point types. Point Dealer points are account-bound and are used
for refilling Energy, Nerve, Awake, and similar Point Shop actions. Premium points
can also be traded, sold, donated, or used as player-to-player currency.
Leveling is a normal source of Point Dealer points, and more can be bought from the
Point Dealer. When you own both types, refills spend Dealer points first. Use those
account-bound points for progression and preserve Premium points when you need
transferable currency.
-= Free Point Farming - Use Hourly Awards and Dumpster Dive =-
The hourly award system remains a legitimate way to earn extra points while doing
normal progression. Hitter of the Hour rewards strong battle activity, Mugger of the
Hour rewards money mugged, Mobster of the Hour rewards heavy EXP activity, and Rat of
the Hour is tied to being active during the hour.
Dumpster Dive also awards the highest hourly score. These activities can award points
while you work toward their hourly rankings, so time a serious attack, mugging, EXP,
or Dumpster session around an hourly boundary when you are already planning to spend
resources.
-= Money - Bank It Before Another Player Takes It =-
Cash carried on your character can be exposed to attacks and mugging. The Bank
protects money up to your account's current capacity, so increase that limit when
available and bank money you do not need for an immediate purchase.
Do not plan around bank interest. The Bank does not pay interest in the current game;
its value is protection from mugging and secure storage for future purchases.
New players have a protection period of up to two weeks or until level 10, whichever
boundary ends it. Do not let that early safety teach you to carry large balances once
normal PvP exposure begins.
-= Mugging - Targets Under $100 Always Fail =-
A mug attempt automatically fails when the target has less than $100 on hand. Targets
carrying only a little more than $100 also give poor mugging EXP. Search for players
with meaningful cash out instead of spending nerve and awake on empty targets.
The player Search page can sort by money, making it more useful for mugging than the
once-daily Hall of Fame snapshot. A successful mug also contributes to the hourly
mugging competition.
-= Crimes - Awake Affects Success, Nerve Pays for Attempts =-
Crimes consume nerve and can award money and EXP. Awake percentage also affects crime
success, so repeatedly forcing difficult crimes while your awake bar is low wastes
refills and increases the chance of ending up in Prison.
The Refill & Retry button adds 100 nerve and immediately pays the nerve cost of the
retried crime. If a 50-nerve crime leaves the display at 50 nerve afterward, the
refill worked correctly.
-= Crime Mastery - More EXP Can Be Worth Less Cash =-
Crime mastery progresses through several stages up to a maxed fourth level. As
mastery improves, the crime shifts toward better EXP at the cost of some cash.
Mastery can also be a prerequisite for related gang crimes, so do not abandon a
mastered crime family just because another crime pays slightly more money.
When a Gang Crime says you must master a normal crime first, return to the matching
regular crime and finish its mastery requirement before trying to join again.
-= Prison - Stay Near Other Players or Carry a Key =-
Players can only bust prisoners who are in the same city. If you plan to grind risky
crimes, doing it in a populated city improves the chance that someone can help you
out.
Prison Cell Keys provide the self-service alternative. They can drop from Assault a
Prison Worker and Assault a Police Officer; the Police Officer crime only drops keys
for characters at level 100 or below. A key can be used directly from the prison
notification instead of searching through Inventory.
-= Energy, Nerve, and Awake - Let Small Gaps Regenerate =-
Energy, Nerve, and Awake recover naturally over time, while Point Shop refills are
for burst activity. If you are only a little short of the next crime, attack, or gym
session, letting the bar recover preserves points for a larger refill later.
Use full refills when they let you exploit a valuable training boost, finish an
hourly push, or keep a planned crime or leveling session moving. Do not spend points
merely to top off a nearly recovered bar.
-= Gym - Awake Controls the Value of Every Energy Point =-
Gym training converts energy into Strength, Defense, or Speed and also consumes
awake. The higher your current awake percentage, the more stat value you receive for
the energy spent, so refill or recover awake before a large training session.
Land determines your main Maximum Awake value, and a house on that land adds more.
Upgrading real estate therefore improves more than convenience: it directly raises
the ceiling for productive gym training.
-= Training Boosts - Stack Them Before a Large Point Burn =-
Each level gained activates a +10% Gym training bonus for 3 hours, and the timer can
stack when you gain more levels. The active buff appears on the right side of the
game, so a level-up is a strong signal to refill awake and prepare a serious training
session instead of spending the bonus on a few casual trains.
The standard Gym Boost lasts 25 minutes and adds +10% to Strength, Defense, and Speed
training. Gym Boosts stack with the level-up bonus and with compatible event boosts.
Use the item after your awake is ready and before spending a large block of points so
the whole refill chain benefits from the multiplier.
Below level 300, use Gym Boost 4Noobs instead of the standard Gym Boost when it is
available. It gives better training value at the same price for low-level characters.
Once you reach level 300, use the standard Gym Boost.
-= Power Training - Calculate the High-Value Levels From Maximum Awake =-
Use the long-standing MafiaDeath training-level formula to identify levels where a
full train uses your awake especially efficiently. Start with your Maximum Awake, not
your current partially drained value.
First training level = Maximum Awake / 100 / 2 - 9
Training-level step = Maximum Awake / 100 / 2
Example with 11,800 Maximum Awake:
* 11,800 / 100 / 2 = 59.
* First target level: 59 - 9 = 50.
* Add 59 each time: 50, 109, 168, 227, 286, 345, 404, 463, and so on.
Save large point-funded training burns for one of these levels when practical. Normal
free regeneration is still worth using between them; the formula is for maximizing
expensive power-training sessions, not for avoiding the Gym entirely.
-= Battle Stats - Speed Starts the Fight, Strength Must Beat Defense =-
PvP uses Strength, Defense, Speed, and HP together rather than one universal power
score. Higher Speed attacks first and also affects the small miss/dodge chance.
Strength is checked against the defender's Defense; if the attack cannot overcome
that Defense, the opponent gets the chance to answer.
At very high numbers the game scales combat stats before calculating damage. Damage
is based on the scaled Strength-versus-Defense difference, while Speed differences
can create a miss chance of up to about 2%. This prevents tiny stat differences at
huge values from deciding every fight automatically.
If both players' Defense can shut down the opposing Strength, HP becomes much more
important. Build around a deliberate Strength/Speed, Defense, or mixed plan instead
of assuming every account needs perfectly even combat stats.
-= Solo Rampage - Turn a Kill Streak Into a 30-Minute Buff =-
Hospitalize roughly 100 players in a short period to trigger Solo Rampage. The reward
lasts 30 minutes and gives +20% battle EXP plus +10% to all battle stats. The bonuses
are stackable, so plan a serious attack run before the buff starts instead of
triggering it at the end of a session.
Because the trigger counts players sent to Hospital, target selection still matters.
Use attackable players who also satisfy your EXP plan rather than burning Energy on
weak accounts that return almost no experience.
-= Recommended Stats - Weak Targets Can Give Almost No EXP =-
Recommended stats are not just a personal progress hint. Battle EXP is reduced when
the defeated player is far below the recommended stat range for their level. The best
EXP targets are higher-level players who still have at least two meaningful stats
around or above their recommended values.
Spying can reveal a player's actual stats, but it does not directly tell you whether
the target satisfies the recommended-stat EXP rule. If a supposedly valuable target
gives almost no EXP, stop farming that account and test another target.
-= Hospital Population - Crowded Hospitals Raise Battle EXP =-
When the global Hospital counter climbs above roughly 200, winning battles begins to
receive an EXP boost. The bonus grows as the Hospital becomes more crowded, so a busy
combat period can be a better time for a leveling push than a quiet one.
Treat the counter as a timing signal, not a reason to attack bad targets. The
recommended-stat rule still determines whether a victim is worth meaningful EXP.
-= Attack Auto-Refill - Remove One Click From Long Battle Runs =-
Edit Account -> Game Options includes `Auto-refill low energy when attacking`. Enable
it when you are deliberately chaining attacks and want the game to refill low Energy
automatically instead of stopping for a manual Point Shop refill.
Leave it off when you are conserving Dealer or Premium points. Automation inside this
built-in option is allowed; external macros, auto-clickers, and auto-refresh tools
are still prohibited.
-= Hit List - Take the Bonus EXP When the Target Fits =-
The Hit List contains game-generated targets. Killing a listed target awards bonus
battle EXP, making it a useful extra layer on top of normal target selection.
Do not chase a Hit List name blindly. Check the target's level and likely stats
first; the normal recommended-stat EXP rules still matter, and a dangerous or badly
matched target can cost more Hospital time than the bonus is worth.
-= Leveling - EXP Growth Also Raises Your Resource Caps =-
Crimes, successful attacks, and mugging all provide routes to EXP. Leveling raises
maximum HP, Energy, and Nerve, so progression improves both combat durability and the
amount of activity you can perform between refills.
Do not level far ahead of your trained stats just because an easy EXP target is
available. Recommended stats scale with level, and a badly under-trained account
becomes a poor EXP target for everyone else while also becoming harder to fight with.
-= Equipment - Repair Quality Before an Item Becomes Disposable =-
Weapons add Strength, Armour adds Defense, and Shoes add Speed. Different cities
stock different equipment, while the player Item Market is available regardless of
which city originally sells an item.
Equipment quality can fall below 100%. Use the Repair Centre before quality becomes
so poor that replacing the item is the better option. This matters most for rare or
expensive equipment that would be painful to repurchase.
-= Travel - Cars Save Money, City Locks Change What You Can Reach =-
The Travel Agent moves you between cities in your current country. Bus travel costs
money; owning a car reduces the travel cost. Airports connect the major international
cities.
Some cities require a minimum level, Respected Mobster status, or enough Gold Medals.
You cannot use normal travel or airports while in Hospital or Prison, so carry the
supplies you need before leaving a well-stocked city.
-= Gold Medals - Check Profile Progress When Travel Requires Them =-
Gold Medals are higher tiers of the medal objectives shown on player profiles. They
come from long-term goals such as battles, crimes, prison busts, point holdings,
gambling, and similar tracked activity.
When a city requires a certain number of Gold Medals, check your profile's Medals
section to see which objectives are closest to Gold. Hidden medals exist, but you do
not need a complete hidden-medal catalog just to plan ordinary city access.
-= Respected Mobster - A Timed Status With Real Gameplay Benefits =-
Respected Mobster, usually shortened to RM, is a timed premium account status rather
than a level title. RM is used for RM-only cities and other gated features, and it
also improves parts of training and banking/deposit play while expanding inventory
capacity.
RM packs are part of the game's upgrade economy and can also appear in normal player
trading. Buy or trade for RM when its training access, city access, or inventory
space supports a concrete plan; the colored name is only a cosmetic side effect.
-= Airport Lockers - Use All 10 Daily Guesses =-
Airport lockers hide a daily cash prize. You get 10 attempts per day to guess the
combination to the winning locker. There is no reason to leave unused attempts if you
are already passing through an airport.
-= Search Downtown - 100 Daily Chances at Rare Items =-
Search Downtown gives exactly 100 attempts each day. A search can return money,
points, an item, a rare item that may not be sold in shops, or nothing. Use all 100
when you can; the value is not limited to the ordinary shop inventory.
-= Casino - Separate Daily Value From Pure Risk =-
The Casino contains several different risk profiles. The Lucky Dip is a once-daily
small-cost roll for items, money, points, or nothing. The Money and Points lotteries
each run daily. The Slot Machine allows up to 250 plays per day.
Russian Roulette is much riskier: using more bullets improves the possible reward,
but losing sends you directly to Hospital. Do not treat it as a safe point farm when
hospital time would interrupt a training, crime, travel, or gang plan.
-= Jobs - Clock In or the Day Pays Nothing =-
Jobs provide daily money, Strength, Defense, Speed, and Work EXP. Better jobs require
more Work EXP and attributes, but none of those rewards are automatic: visit Jobs and
Clock In every day you want the payout and progression.
-= Gangs - Join for Equipment, Protection, Knowledge, and Group Crimes =-
A useful gang can provide loaned equipment, protection, shared knowledge, gang mail,
and access to gang crimes. Shop around before joining; the strongest fit is not
always the highest-level gang if its members are inactive when you play.
A gang can also share spy information. Spying while in a gang costs more, so use the
shared result instead of repeatedly paying to rediscover the same target's stats.
-= Gang Crimes - Shorter Jobs Pay Better Per Hour =-
Each character can participate in only one gang crime at a time. The gang itself can
run more than one different gang crime at once when its level unlocks them and enough
different members are available to fill the required slots.
Some gang crimes require a mastered normal crime before you may join. For crimes that
need the same number of members, the shorter-duration version generally pays more per
hour than the version designed to run unattended for longer.
If a participating member leaves or is kicked from the gang, that active crime halts
and must be restarted. Coordinate participants before committing a long job so one
roster change does not waste the entire timer.
-= Gang Vault - Keep Condition at 95% or Higher =-
A new gang vault securely holds up to $100,000,000, and the secure-money limit rises
every 10 gang levels. Vault Condition determines how much of that secure capacity
actually remains protected.
* 95% or higher - The full secure-money capacity is protected.
* Below 95% - Part of the stored money becomes unsecured and vulnerable to robbery.
* Daily decay - 2%, or 3% per day when the gang has no owner.
* 0% condition for seven total days - The gang can be automatically purged.
Each gang may hold up to 500 items in total. Items in the vault, items loaned to
members, and gang items listed on the market all count against the same 500-item cap.
Repair Vault gang crimes restore condition and delay the next deterioration. Watch
the Unsecured Money value, not just the total balance. Gang points are always secure
and cannot be robbed.
-= Referrals - Long-Term Point Rewards Scale With the New Player =-
Your Home includes a Referrals page with your personal referral link and the progress
of players you have brought into MafiaDeath. Referral rewards are milestone-based, so
a genuinely active new player can return far more points than a one-time signup
bonus.
* Signup - 100 points.
* Level 5 - 100 points.
* Level 10 - 250 points.
* Level 25 - 500 points.
* Level 50 - 750 points.
* Level 100 - 1,500 points.
* Level 150 - 2,500 points.
* Level 200 - 5,000 points.
* Level 300 - 7,500 points.
* Level 400 - 10,000 points.
* Level 500 - 25,000 points.
Do not create extra accounts to farm these milestones. Use the supported Character
Management system for your own alts; referrals are for separate real players.
-= Player Trading - Use the Market When Trust Is the Problem =-
Player-to-player trading is part of MafiaDeath's economy, but support does not
promise to replace items or points lost to a scam. For a deal with someone you do not
trust, use the market or a trusted middleman instead of sending the valuable side
first.
Never hand gang-vault access to somebody merely to make a trade easier. A single bad
permission decision can expose far more value than the deal itself.
-= Character Management - One Account Can Hold Several Characters =-
The account system supports up to four characters under one login. Use Character
Management from the Change User menu or Your Home rather than creating unrelated
extra logins.
The Terms of Service still treats MafiaDeath as a one-account game. Characters under
the supported Character Management system are the intended way to maintain alts.
-= Account Safety - Automation and Bug Abuse Can Cost the Entire Account =-
MafiaDeath is server-side, so browser automation is not a harmless single-player
shortcut. MafiaDeath bans bug or glitch abuse, macros, auto-clickers, auto-refresh
tools, unapproved multi-account use, account piloting, and similar automation.
The Terms also allow accounts inactive for 90 days or more to be removed without
recovery. If the account matters to you, log in normally and keep the registered
email accessible rather than relying on a local browser profile as a backup.
