How to Recover Map (Map Maker):
-------------------------------
Written by Xmaster13
For anyone who may have crashed or accidentally closed their game
before managing to save their map. This is how I went about rescuing
my map from such a situation.
-=Guide to Recover Map=-
What This Guide Is For
My game crashed while testing my map and I didn’t even save after
working on it for hours. I kept the window open for awhile hoping it
would come back and started looking for the save data. After failing
to locate it I open the game hoping I had saved it. In the map maker
I did not have any saved maps, but after clicking on the ‘manage maps’
button I found where the maps are saved. Going there I was still
dismayed to see nothing in the maps folder. However I noticed a temp
save file in the root directory of the game. I plopped that into the
map folder, went back to Lumencarft to refresh the map manager folder
& was right back into my map!
It being a temp file, I would guess that if you tried making a fresh
map before recovering the map you lost then you might be out of luck.
However, the file was up to date from the moment I jumped in to test
it (my first wave crashed the game).
-=Go Here, Copy This, Make Backups=-
* Go here:
* C:\Users[YourUserFolder]\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Lumencraft
* Should be a temp.lcmap in the folder
* Copy that file to the Maps folder; Load map and make a copy (or several).
Useful Tips and Tricks:

Written by BladeofSharpness
* When you dig veins, as much as possible don’t do it from your base, but
from the exterior toward your base. This way you’ll greatly minimize the
odds to open a new pathway toward your base, which is probably the worst
possible outcome ever in a tower defense game like Lumencraft.
* Said differently, so that it is clearly understood AND applied: starting
from your base and digging tunnels might mean you suddenly open up a new
cavern/area which is connected to the rest of the map and the invasion waves.
You just raised the difficulty level by one doing so.
* The maps often gates juicy veins behind hard rocks, thus preventing you
to access them until you upgrade your drill. And upgrading requires a lot of
Lumen. Eventually (well asap,) you’ll upgrade it, but what can you do before
this time? There is a solution requiring only base metal: dynamite from the
explosion workshop! Use it profusely, as the 20 metals you pay will be largely
compensated by the amount of stuff you can mine instantly with it.
* The dynamite does not harm you.
* The dynamite, once dropped, can be further pushed slightly toward the wall
by moving onto it.
* It can damages monsters if you have nothing else.
* Some maps feature little crevasses in the ground, which indicates a minor
spider nest.
* You can recycle everything, including items and ammo.
* Power relays and containers can be placed even outside the power grid if
they are covered by another power relay yet-to-be-constructed. Rinse & Repeat.
* Construction Drones originate from the nearest Container, and not only from
the Reactor.
* Repair gun can also work as a tractor beam, grabbing anything and carrying
it. You only spend one charge if you maintain the mouse button. This includes
the explosive barrels (very practical to place them), and already laid mines,
you want to reposition. In case of need, you can also transport one extra item,
if you are short on inventory space. Special hint: In Fear the Darkness, you
can transport Golden Lumen crystal with it.
Tips to Use Napalm:
-------------------
* You can use it as flamethrower ammo or spill it on the floor.
* You can ignite the puddle with a flare and the fire will ignite enemies and
explosive barrels.
* Also you can use it to put a big area on the spawn and drop a mine on it. The
mine will trigger the napalm. Since the monsters all spawn at once, they will
all get hit by the fire.
Base Stats of Speed and Luck:
-----------------------------
* Speed is actually 500 + 25 per level (it displays as +1 to make the numbers simpler).
* +%2 refers to evasion chance when enemy attacks you (base is 0).
* The critical rate is not displayed explicitly.
* The formula is base rate * (luck + 1), where base rate is different for each weapon.
