If you're stuck on the 5x5 sliding puzzle, don't worry-you're not alone.
This puzzle can feel tricky at first, but with the right method, it
becomes surprisingly simple. Think of it like playing Snake, and you'll
have it solved in no time. Below is a step-by-step guide that breaks down
the entire process.
-=Step 1: Set Up the First Row=-
Start by arranging the top-left corner like this (o represents the empty gap,
which can be anywhere):

Now, treat the numbers 1 through 4 as a "snake" and rotate them counterclockwise:

-=Step 2: Complete the First Row=-
No matter where 5 is located, you can rotate the four tiles in the top-right corner
(including 5) to get this layout:

Now, treat 1 through 5 as a snake and rotate them clockwise.
This will complete the first row.
-=Step 3: Repeat for Rows 2, 3, and 4=-
Use the exact same method for the next three rows. Each time, treat the five tiles
in that row as a snake, rotate them counterclockwise first, then clockwise to lock
them in place. The empty gap can be moved freely as needed.
-=Step 4: Handle the Last Two Rows=-
Once the first three rows are fixed, focus on the fourth row. Arrange the snake c
ounterclockwise into one of these two shapes:
* Shape A:

* Shape B:
19 20 X X X
18 17 16 o X
The empty gap can still be anywhere-just adjust as needed. By switching between
these two shapes, you can freely rearrange the four tiles in the bottom-right corner.
-=Step 5: Final Arrangement=-
Keep adjusting until you get this layout:

17 16 o 21 22
In this setup, 20 connects to 24 (or has the gap between them), and 16 connects to 21 (
or has the gap between them). Once you have this, treat the snake clockwise back to
its correct position, and the puzzle is solved.
-=Tips=-
* The empty gap is your friend-use it to slide tiles around like a snake's tail.
* If you get stuck, don't be afraid to undo a few moves and try a different rotation
direction.
* Focus on one row at a time. Don't worry about the rows below until the current row
is complete.
* For the last two rows, the key is to keep the first three rows untouched while you
manipulate the bottom section.
