Geometry Dash Cheats

Geometry Dash

Cheat Codes:
------------
Submitted by: David K.

General strategies:
-------------------
* The first half of a level features a square that can jump as it follows a
  path with spikes. You will restart at the beginning of the level if you
  hit the spikes. You will also encounter platforms that appear consecutively.
  Tap and hold to make the square continuously jump through these sections.
* After doing some platforming section, you will pass through a portal and
  into a rocket. You must now fly past obstacles. Tap and hold to fly upwards,
  then release to go back down. If possible, start in the middle, then move
  around walls begin appearing.
* Time your taps to the beat to avoid obstacles. Timing is essential, and
  must be done with both the visuals and audio. Only tap as needed to clear
  an obstacle and do not make any extra unnecessary moves. When the song is
  over, the level is over.

Boosts:
-------
* Sparkles give you an extra bounce above ground.
* Springers launch your square into the air.

Practice mode:
--------------
Practice mode allows you to return to a recent checkpoint after you die.
Use it to memorize the level. However, checkpoints may appear in dangerous
areas, and may require you to quickly jump after respawning in order to
prevent dying again.

Easy Way to Obtain Tonight, We Dine in Geometry Dash!:
------------------------------------------------------
Written by Dolphyn

An easy way to get the Seahorse ship and the "Tonight, We Dine in Geometry Dash!"
Achievement.

-=How to Obtain
You have to beat 1,000 user created levels in nornal mode in order to unlock the
Seahorse ship and achievement.

-=The Easy Method to Obtaining
The easiest way I can find to obtain this is to set the search filter to "Auto"
levels and just let them play in the background while you watch a movie or something.
Since levels are only so long you should back every few minutes to click on new levels.
This will take a while but at least there is no actual playing required.

-=Recap:
Search "Auto" levels
Play any auto level and leave it idle as it will complete itself
Check back minute or so to put on new level

Demon Progression:
------------------
Written by Zovible

I have beat some demons (217 as of typing this) and I've beaten at least one of
every single type. In this guide i will tell you a path that you may want to take but
its not for everyone.

-=Easy Demons=-
Beat other demons between here these are just the major ones.

1. The nightmare By GWJax - This is a very easy demon, maybe not if you first stared
the game but when you get good enough it will be really easy.

2. The Lightning Road - This demon can be done before the nightmare, as they are
almost the same difficulty.

3. Clubstep - This well help you build your flying and timing skills for the harder
demons.

4. Speed Racer By ZenthicAlpha - This demon is fast paced and will help with being
used to the fast speeds and speed changes. it will also help you get better with the
ship and some memorization.

5. Problematic - This is the 1st Nine Circles level you should do and will help with
weird timings, wave, and flashing colors/lights.

6.Insomnia By Glittershroom - This demon will be hard at first but once you know what
you're doing it wont be that bad at all. it is a memorization-ish demon though.

7. Freedom By MrPPs - This demon is a very large jump from Insomnia and will take you
awhile. the reason this jump is here is because it wont be getting slightly harder each
time from here on out. it will also build stamina because it is an XL level.

-=Medium Demons=-
1. Theory Of Everything 2 - This should be a good stating point for Medium demons. it
was the 1st one i beat anyways.

2. Deadlocked - This demons is the final robtop demon (as of 2.0) and will help build
alot of skills needed to do most of these next demons.

3. Sidestep by ChaSe - This demon is really annoying at first and will take time but
in the long run it will help.

4. Chaoz Impact By TheRealDarnoc - Nothing to say here, just an average demon.

5. Reanimation - This is the 1st bossfight level on this list. It is a fast paced XL
Demon and is a good stepping stone to the next level.

6. Jawbreaker by ZenthicAlpha - Most people dont call this a medium demon but it is
quite hard for one. it was my 20th demon and only took me 1K attempts.

7. Nine Circles - Most everyone does not consider this a medium demon, but is around
the same difficulty as jawbreaker.

8. Lonely Travel - This level is long... like 6 min. long. this will definetly help
with getting used to longer demons. It is not very hard, probably 5-7 star difficulty
consistant, but its very long. (Dont die at 99%).

-=Hard Demons=-
This is where Nine Circles and Jawberaker Pay off.

1. Spaced Locked - This demon is fun. It should be everyones 1st hard demon in my
opinion.

2. Supersonic - The beginning of the sonic series, it is a fast paced hard level
that can be really annoying at the end.

3. Fairydust - This was my 1st hard demon and is really not that bad once you know
what a nine circles level is like.

4. Forest Temple - This demon will again make your timings better and know how to
read timings better. This demon i level raced my friend and he is much better at
the game since beating this and fairy dust.

6. Ditched Machine - This is your introduction to duals. The dual gamemode is
personally my favorite and Ditched Machine is one of my favorite Dual levels.

7. Ultra Drivers - This is the 2nd Dual level on this list and is a big step up
from ditched machine (Ditched Machine should be easy by now) this is the part where
we almost have that dual skill perfeced and this is the 2nd to last step in doing so.

8. Dual Knight - This level is all dual.

9. Dance Massacre - This demon will be a fun one once you know how to do it. It is
a well rounded hard demon and you shouldent have too many problems.

-=Insane Demons=-
1. Malware - This is actually a hard demon but has the gameplay style of insane
demons.

2. Windy Landscape - From now on we are going with how i did them in order no matter
how big the jump. Windy Landscape is an interesting level to say the least. the
hardest parts are at the beginning and slowly get easier from the end of the drop.

3. 8o - 8o was a pain for me (look at the jump though) and only took me 3.5K attemps
which suprised me.

4. Hyper sonic - This used to be an extreme demon but was moved to insane around
the time i beat it.

5. Ultra sonic - This level was fun and beating it wasn't that bad.

6. Poltergeist - The beginning was changed since i beat it so i cant really say
how hard it is now, but the wave is only hard at the beginning.

7. Hi - Im not even going to on this level.

-=Extreme Demons=-

1. Deception Dive - This level is not fun after awhile but do this first.

2. Cataclysm - Watch EricVanWilderman beat it because in one of his videos
(probably both) he gives tips on how to beat it.

3. ICDX - Again watch EVW.

4. Fexty - This demon was kind of fun, kinda not. really nothing to say here.

5. Downbase - Just no.

6. Bloodbath - It is seriously over rated BB is not that hard at all,
it could have been my 3rd extreme demon.

7. Sakupen Hell - Very fast tight wave.

8. Phobos - Nothing really to say here.

9. God Eater - This demon is 37th (as of 2/23/2019) and is very over rated.
if you cant run it grab a copyable and delete all the detail.

10. Black Blizzard - It will help you for the last one.

11. Hatred - Also a timing level.

12. Bausha Vortex 2nd to last NC level on this list.

13. ZAPHKIEL - I know we just did a 28th-9th jump but again its what i did.

14. Erebus.

15. Yatagarasu - Havent beaten it quite yet but i should have before my hardest.

16. Sonic Wave - This is my hardest demon as of 2/23/19 and it was painful and very
fun. sonic wave is a fun demon that will prepare you for the last 4 if i had to
give any tips it would be get the beginning up to the wave consistent, than practice
every other part that is a not a wave part till its consistent, than practice the
level backwards (From the last wave slowly moving back) and then once you're
 comfortable with the level just do it.

-=Green lock
* To get the green lock, you first have to unlock 50 demon chests,
  which you need 50 demon keys for.

Demon Progression Guide:
------------------------
Written by Ghxstfxce

-=Intro=-
I have only beaten 187 Demons, 4 of those being extreme demons, so I can’t say I’m
the most experienced GD player in history, but I am good at the game. If you’re
struggling with demon progression, I have made a ladder of demon milestones for you
to try. You don’t have to follow this exactly, but this is the way I am beating
demons and I’m finding it very useful so far. Please keep in mind this guide is
entirely based off my personal experience.

-=The Beginning: Easy Demons=-
You’re going to want to start off with beating 9 Easy Demons. You can beat the
lightning road and/or the nightmare if you want, but I’d go with more fast paced
levels to help you get used to quick gameplay and to improve your sightreading
ability. Levels such as: Hold on (65947116), iSpyWithMyLittleEye (89886591), iS
(65765662), etc. are perfect examples of sightreadable, easy demons.

-=Medium Demons=-
Once you’ve beaten 9 Demons. Go for any Medium Demon as your 10th Demon. I’d
personally recommend B (34085027) or Dolbit Normalno (63405062). Dolbit Normalno
helps with consistency and timing while B helps with bossfight levels. I’d
personally choose B, as it is a lot easier to sightread, but Dolbit Normalno is
very flashy and difficult to comprehend. Once you’ve done that, basically repeat
what you did, and beat another Medium Demon as your 20th.

-=Hard Demons=-
After that, you should beat a Hard Demon as your 25th. I would in fact go for a
Hard Demon that will challenge you as it will boost your skills in whatever area
you are lacking (I beat Nine Circles, a wave-heavy level as my first Hard Demon,
because I struggled with wave gameplay, and it seriously helped me since). So
your first Hard Demon will either be the same, or different from everyone else’s
depending on where you struggle the most.

Once you’ve beaten a Hard Demon, you’re free to do whatever you want in terms of
demon progression, you can beat as many Easy-Hard Demons as you like, but once
you have a total of 49 Demons completed, it’s time to beat an Insane Demon as
your 50th Demon.

-=Insane Demons=-
I would personally recommend Supersonic (4706930), as it is a fast paced demon
that challenges overall every skill-set in the game. In my opinion it’s the
easiest Insane Demon in the game. However, most people claim it is Magma Bound,
which is also a fast paced Insane Demon that covers most skill-sets.(56568010)
And I would agree on that it weren’t as difficult to sightread (Magma Bound
uses an Artistic 2.1 Style, where Supersonic is a more simplistic 1.9 Style).

Once again, you’re free to do whatever you want, however I’d recommend beating
an Insane Demon as your 75th and 95th Demon, before moving on to your first
Extreme Demon as your 100th Demon.

-=Extreme Demons=-
At this point, you should make an Extreme Demon Pattern for how often you beat
an Extreme. For example, I beat an Extreme Demon as my next 25th Demon. I beat
Acu (61079355) as my 100th, Doradura (77114615) as my 125th, Napalm (65561437)
as my 150th and Azurite (62214792) as my 175th. However, your Extreme Demon
pattern can go however you like. It could be every 10 Demons, 100 Demons, or
straight up random. It might be difficult to find a beginner Extreme Demon as
they go from being as easy as Acu to as Impossible as Slaughterhouse (27690100),
so here is a list of beginner Extremes to try:

-=Entry Extreme Demon List=-
* Acu (61079355)
* Doradura (77114615)
* Napalm (65561437)
* Azurite (62214792)
* Make it Drop (75518661)
* Cataclysm (3979721)
* Forbidden Isle (63775846)
* Reverence (63433024)
* Troll Level (76196489)
* CYCLONE (54917442)

-=The End=-
And after you beat one Extreme, you’re finished with your progression to
becoming a Geometry Dash pro. I am currently going for Bloodbath as my 200th
Demon and 5th Extreme, and I plan on beating my first List Demon as my 250th
Demon! Please remember this is all recommendation and that you can beat any
type of Demon whenever you want, so if you’re feeling crazy enough you can try
to beat Sakupen Circles (76962930) as your first Demon. I hope this guide
(somehow) helps someone out, and I wish you all luck in your Geometry Dash
future.

Guide to Practice Mode on a Platformer Level:
---------------------------------------------
Written by Ziusp

-=Practice Mode Guide=-
* Open Geometry Dash
* Connect a Controller
* Select a Platformer Level
* Pulse “Escape”; if you do that, and you select Practice Mode, you will see that
  it doesn’t work, so:
* Pulse the “Square symbol” (PS4)
* Now, press the Square symbol again to put Checkpoints, and press the Circle
  ymbol to remove them.
* Now you can practice quietly “I wanna be the guy”, “Jet Lag”, or another
  complicated level you want to practice.

-=Possible Questions=-
* Can I play any online level and levels of “The Tower”? -> Yes, By the moment,
  it works on online levels and Robtop levels.
* It also works with Switch or Xbox controller? -> To be honest, I don’t know
  that, but probably yes.
* Can I play without using a controller? -> To active practice mode, you need to
  use a controller, but if you want to play with Keyboard or Mouse, you can
  disconnect the controller after activating the Practice Mode, and put the
  checkpoints with “z” and remove them with “x”
* Can I hear the original song of the level in the Practice Mode? -> Yes, you only
  have to put a checkpoint, and then die once.

How to Pass That Transition in Supersonic:
------------------------------------------
Written by Attibot

-=What You’ll Need to Do Before=-
In the ball dual, in the parts with the three orbs that are hit quickly, make
sure you hit ALL of the orbs.

This will assure that the ball that provides momentum is at the bottom half,
giving you upwards momentum in the ship.

-=What You’ll Need to Do After=-
Now that you made it to the ship, make sure you’re not clicking immediately.

Wait a split second and let your ship go a bit downwards so that you get into
the gravity portal.

Make sure you don’t click very lightly at that gravity portal so that you can
make it to the next part.
