Two parallel tracks: Horizon Festival wristbands and Discover Japan stamps in the
Collection Journal (Campaign tab).
* Smooth inputs: partial throttle and brake improve traction on controllers.
* Auto Upgrade quickly bumps a car toward a target class without hand-picking
parts.
* Check the Collection Journal often for milestone rewards.
* Buy houses early - perks stack (first home may unlock Autoshow trading; others
add credit bonuses on event types).
* Snap Horizon Promo photos at race starts for easy Festival points.
* Anna: D-pad Down then Up for Drone Mode; Down then Left for Auto Drive hands-
free.
* Fast travel is free to any driven road segment; undriven grey roads stay locked
(map cursor + X / Square).
* Fog-of-war: 25,000 XP and 30,000 CR per 25% region cleared; all regions
together pay over one million CR; regions often auto-complete near 70-80%
driven.
* Aftermarket Cars can appear on roads below Autoshow list, sometimes with NPC
upgrades.
* Drone scouting marks Barn Finds and Treasure Cars on the map; press B to return
to your car.
* Set driving line to Braking Only once comfortable; shortcuts between
checkpoints are allowed.
* Buy duplicate-prone clothing in the Character menu to remove those items from
Wheelspin pools.
* Run Festival events and Discover Japan together - stamps unlock houses and Barn
Find hints.
* Save for Hakusan Mountain Lodge (Cool Credits: +10% on Horizon Life events).
* Yashiki House is a cheap early buy that unlocks Estate building.
* Turning off traction and stability control raises credit multipliers; raise
Drivatar difficulty as high as you can still win.
* Spend one skill point on the first Car Mastery node of each new car.
* Use Rewind while learning tracks; it also retries Danger Signs without a long
reset.
* Do not fast-travel everywhere - road discovery and PR stunts feed progression.

Nine Treasure Cars unlock the Treasure Hunter achievement. Hints appear in the
Cars menu after you drive near each rumor; Mei radios new finds.
1. Nissan Figaro '91 - south Tokyo City parking lot (near Rainbow Bridge area).
2. Ford GT '05 - south-west cliffs off-road viewpoint.
3. Mazda RX-7 '85 - north-west farm with red tower (Ohtani radio towers area).
4. Porsche 959 - north-west back alley (Shimanoyama convenience-store rumor).
5. BMW M1 - east of the Porsche spot, under a railway bridge (Hokubu).
6. Nissan Safari - far east half-island under a windmill.
7. Dodge Charger '69 - central map, yard behind building with golf carts
(Minamino clubhouse rumor).
8. Mitsubishi Evo III '95 - north dirt road dead-end before a waterfall.
9. Lancia Stratos - northern snowy region behind a large house.
Secrets:

* Treasure Cars are permanent free vehicles; seasonal Treasure Hunts are photo-
clue chests for credits - different systems.
* Housing perks apply even when a house is not set as home base.
* Eight player houses total; most unlock through Discover Japan stamp
progression.

1. Prioritize chest gold choices in early Festival progression if offered
elsewhere.
2. Buy Yashiki House early, then save toward Hakusan Mountain Lodge.
3. Run wristband races in C/D class before buying hypercars.

2. Use Drone Mode to scan parking lots, bridges, and farm yards.
