-= Performance and packet burst =-
If you see packet burst icons, set On-Demand Texture Streaming to Minimal under
Graphics, cap VRAM Scale Target around 60-70 percent, and restart shader pre-
loading after changes. Wired Ethernet reduces false network warnings compared to
Wi-Fi. Disable Dismemberment or Gore Effects if hitching persists on mid-range
GPUs.

-= Multiplayer meta (Season 4, June 2026) =-
* KRS-7.62 - Season 4 battle pass marksman; strong two-shot kills inside 25
  meters
* CBRS-3 - Season 4 battle pass SMG; high-capacity rechambering magazine
* EGRT-17 - Still top-tier assault rifle; prestige ricochet mod bounces rounds
  three times
* REV-46 SMG - Fastest-firing SMG class; strong in Black Ops Royale and respawn
  modes
* AN-94 and VX Compact - Later Season 4 event unlocks; AN-94 returns from Black
  Ops 2
* Grimhawk - Weekly challenge special weapon; homing rounds vs. enemies who are
  shooting
* SG-12 - Dragon's Breath attachment was nerfed in Season 4; default ammo is
  safer now
* M15 MOD 0 and AK-27 - Reliable launch rifles for camo grinds and casual
  playlists

-= Black Ops Classic (Season 4) =-
Limited-time playlist with no sliding, wall jumping, or omnimovement. Stim Shot
and other aggressive gear are restricted; loadouts use curated defaults or
restricted custom builds. Map pool includes remasters such as Firing Range,
Nuketown, Hijacked, Standoff, Summit, Raid, and Slums across TDM, Hardpoint,
Domination, and Kill Confirmed.

-= Ranked Play (Season 4) =-
Skill Rating is now fully visible with no hidden MMR. Crimson players can party
in groups of four again; Iridescent and Top 250 remain limited to duos.
Outperforming higher-ranked opponents earns more SR; beating lower ranks reduces
gains.

-= Season roadmap highlights =-
Season 1 Reloaded added Yakei, Meltdown, Fringe, and event weapons such as
Sturmwolf 45 and Hawker HX. Season 2 brought Slums, Safeguard, Ranked Play, Mars
Zombies, and Paradox Junction. Season 2 Reloaded added Black Ops Royale
(Blackout-inspired, no loadouts or Gulag). Season 4 (June 4) adds Black Ops
Classic, Totenreich Zombies updates, and six new weapons including Grimhawk and
AN-94.

-= Overclocks =-
Scorestreaks, field upgrades, and tactical or lethal equipment gain two Overclock
tiers the more you use them. Popular upgrades include Active Camo revealing you
on gunfire instead of ending, Scout Pulse directional pings, and Drone Pod chase
damage.

-= Matchmaking playlists =-
Open playlists (red and blue icon) minimize skill-based matchmaking in Quick
Play, Team Deathmatch, Core Moshpit, and Skirmish 20v20. Standard Moshpit weighs
skill heavily and disbands lobbies after each match. Back out if a streak of
stomps ruins the session because Open playlists often persist lobbies.

-= Zombies essentials =-
Essence buys doors, weapons, armor, perks, and Pack-a-Punch upgrades. Buy Tier 2
Armor (about 4,000 Essence) before perks in early rounds; it outvalues Jugger-Nog
until mid game. Priority perks: Jugger-Nog, Quick Revive, Stamin-Up, Speed Cola.
Critical kills pay more Essence than body shots; stack Double Points when
possible. M34 Novaline is the strongest non-Wonder Weapon after Pack-a-Punch
(full auto); use the Cyclops-03 Barrel for headshot damage. T.E.D.D. Tasks start
around round 9 for repeatable Essence crates every few rounds. Frenzied Guard
fully repairs armor during activation.

-= Zombies maps =-
Ashes of the Damned remains the main round-based map; Vandorn Farm is the best
early Essence farm. Astra Malorum powers Pack-a-Punch in the Observatory Dome:
collect two Harmonic Components (Machina Astralis and The Luminarium), repair the
Harmonic Oculus piano, then survive a 45-second lockdown. Zarya Cosmodrome is a
compact Season 1 Reloaded survival map for camo grinding. Paradox Junction
(Season 2) spawns Loot Cysts on destroyed Nuketown; kill about 12-20 zombies
nearby for random high-tier drops including Ray Guns.

-= Cursed mode and Relics =-
Complete the Ashes of the Damned main Easter egg, choose Continue after the
finale, then interact with the Mysterious Object west of Blackwater Lake to
unlock Cursed mode. Relics add difficulty modifiers and rewards such as golden
armor or higher Pack-a-Punch tiers; Astra Malorum and Paradox Junction have their
own Relic sets after their main quests.

-= Controller on PC =-
Set aiming input device to Controller in settings. Aim Response Curve: Dynamic.
Try 1.50 horizontal and vertical sensitivity; lower stick minimum deadzones to 1
if no drift. Set Slide/Dive Behavior to Tap to Slide with Short activation delay.


Secrets:

-= Free Ray Gun from Chompy =-
On Vandorn Farm (Ashes of the Damned or Vandorn Farm Survival), melee the shaking
trash can named Chompy between the farmhouse and barn to open it. Feed weapons or
lethals up to three times per round; lethals refill fastest from drops and Max
Ammo. Repeated feedings can spit out a Ray Gun, and each squad member can earn
one by continuing the cycle.

1. Restart and open BIOS (DEL, F2, F10, or ESC during POST).
2. Enable Secure Boot in the boot or security tab; save and reboot.
3. Re-enter BIOS, open Security, Advanced, or Trusted Computing.
4. Enable TPM Device, Intel PTT, or AMD fTPM; save and reboot.
5. Launch the game and run the Secure Attestation Wizard if prompted.
