Battle For Blood
Battle for Blood: Epic battles within 30 seconds!
Hints and Tips:
---------------
Submitted by: David K.
-= Match soldiers before coins =-
Swap one tile with an adjacent tile to form a line of three or more. Troop symbols
summon the matching soldiers, while silver coin symbols only add a small amount of
money. Build enough battlefield pressure first; take coin matches when no useful
troop match is available or the fight is already secure.
-= Keep the tile pool focused =-
Every selected troop adds its own symbol to the board, so loading the army with too
many troop types reduces the chance of useful chains. A reliable core is Swordsmen in
front, Archers behind them, Eagle Warrior as a second frontline attacker, and Warlock
for healing. Add another troop only when it solves a specific stage problem.
-= Upgrade the economy before the whole roster =-
When progress starts to stall, improve the Camp's coin-gain upgrade and replay a
completed time-based stage for money. Concentrating coins on a small battle team
produces a stronger result than buying shallow upgrades for every unlocked troop.
-= Buy stats that match each role =-
Give Swordsmen HP, speed, and defense before extra attack because they hold the
front. Build Archers around attack and speed, then add HP later. Eagle Warrior
benefits from a balanced spread of attack, HP, speed, defense, and critical chance.
Raise Warlock healing and speed so recovery arrives before the frontline collapses.
-= Read the stage limit before matching =-
Stages give either a move limit or a timer. Breaking through enemy defenses can award
more moves or time, but the run ends if the carriage is destroyed. On move-limited
stages, avoid harmless matches that do not summon needed troops; on timed stages,
favor fast chains over perfect board setup.
-= Use special items as recovery tools =-
Save special items for a broken frontline, a dangerous monster, or a final push
before the carriage falls. Routine use increases the amount of coin farming needed
later, while emergency use can preserve a stage attempt that already consumed time or
moves.
Solutions:
----------
-= Compact route - Early progression =-
1. Open each battle by matching troop symbols until the frontline is stable; do not
spend the first safe matches on silver coins.
2. Keep Swordsmen and Archers as the basic front-and-back pairing, then add Eagle
Warrior and Warlock as they become available.
3. Put early Camp spending into coin gain so every replay funds more useful army
upgrades.
4. Upgrade the four core troops by role instead of distributing coins across the
whole roster.
5. Replay a completed time-based stage when the next battle defeats the carriage
before your army can build momentum.
6. Return with stronger frontline durability and healing, then use a special item
only if the rebuilt army still needs an emergency push.
-= Compact route - Stalled stage recovery =-
1. Identify whether the failed stage uses moves or time, then stop making matches
that do not advance the army under that limit.
2. Reduce the selected troop set if too many symbols are preventing useful chains.
3. Replay an earlier time-based stage and collect coins until one focused upgrade is
affordable.
4. If enemies reach the carriage, improve Swordsmen durability and Camp health before
buying more backline damage.
5. If the frontline survives but damage is too slow, improve Archers attack and
speed; if troops die between waves, improve Warlock healing and speed.
6. Retry with special items held for the exact moment the frontline breaks or the
final enemy defense blocks completion.
