Bomber Crew Cheats

Bomber Crew

Beginners Guide:

Written by Mario

In this tutorial I would like to present and explain in the simplest
way how to understand and play this game.

-=Mission and the Best Start=-
You have plenty of time to start, so take advantage of it. Whenever I
start my mission, I instruct the mechanic to bring ammunition (1 - 2
darts) to the front of the ship. This causes the man responsible for
bombing or other person sitting behind the rifle to lose valuable time
to walk through the entire ship to bring one round of ammunition and
not leave the front of the ship unmanned.
Prepare a bombardment position immediately, select the right bombs
or wrestling to suit you, as in the previous case, give you time, the
only thing you need to do is open the clap and click the "dump"
If your plane is in good condition or you say you can still manage
to do another target, make a photos, for doing it you will leave
500 - 1000 £

-=Improving Aircraft=-
In my personal opinion it is better to go in heavy armor and have a
strong gun. Why? Why are you a quick bomber, since you're still
shooting fighter jets, you can not escape them. It is better to be
hard to beat and to be best armed.

=-Armor: Everywhere Heavy=-
Engines: It is not worth taking armor because they too inflated the
weight of the aircraft. Better to go in the basics. However, if the
scale is too large and the motors are on a basic level, change the
exterior to light and leave the interior on the inside.

Shelving equipment: *From left

1 Shelf: 1 parachute, 2 first aid kit.
2 Shelf: 2 first aid kit and 1 parachute or if you do not have fire
extinguishers in engines first aid kit, fire extinguisher
           and parachute.
3 Shelf: 3 parachutes.
4 Shelf: 2 parachutes, 1 first aid kit.

-=Survival: Pontons and pigeons at the maximum level=-
Rifles: Always on the highest level but usually leave the rear with
the feeder, but when the X4 rifle turns, replace it and, in the next
modifications, give it to the feeder.

-=Crew Equipment=-
* Scorers: Armor -Heavy Armor, They are slow but it is important to
live long to protect the rest of the crew, with the rest in case of
evacuation have 2 parachutes next and exit

* Mechanic: Armor - Life jacket, sneakers and pilot's cap - The mechanic
should be quick to move quickly through the ship in the event of an
accident. Life jacket is just a chance to recover it when it falls
( they only work on water :) )
* Pilot: Armor -Heavy Armor, The pilot must be hard, unless someone has
to hold the rudder
* Radiotelephone and Navigator: Armor - The heaviest they can be, They
are an important part of a unit, they can not die at all.
* Bombing: Heavy Armor - After all, it is at the head of the hit.

Permadeath Reversal Cheat Guide:
--------------------------------
Written by GreatAxeblade

This is a in-depth guide on how to cheat death in Bomber Crew.

-=Overview (How to Troll Death Itself)=-
So, your ship crashed, lost a few crewmates, or didn’t bring enough medkits? Do
you hate Permadeath? I know I do. Here’s how to get your fearless crew or flying
fortress back from the pits of Hell (or, ya know, France, same difference).

-=Warnings and Prevention! (Don’t troll yourself)=-
As is to be expected, necromancy and planecromancy are risky procedures and carry
great reprocussions when done incorrectly. Bringing back your crew or plane will
require manipulation of save files, so it is IMPERATIVE that you make a backup
before attempting this. If you make a mistake doing this and do not have a backup,
your save file will be destroyed and your progress lost.

Before you begin any of this, make a backup of your game by navigating to your
game files.

The default location is:
"x:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\LocalLow\Runner Duck"

Copy the "Bomber Crew"folder to somewhere safe and do not edit anything inside it.
If you mess up during this process, simply delete the edited "Bomber Crew" folder
you and copy this backup to:
"C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\LocalLow\Runner Duck" to replace it.

This also works for individual files, such as "BC_SaveSlotV2_0", the main focus
of this tutorial.

-=PREVENTION:=-
If you are lucky enough to be reading this before you have a need to resurrect
anything, simply follow this backup procedure before you embark on every mission.
Whenever the tragic accident happens, follow the restoration process above with
your most recent backup, and all will be made well. If you follow this strategy,
you should never need to use the rest of this guide.

-=Commit Planecromancy (save file editing but with a cooler name)=-
------THIS IS FOR PLANES:
Note: I have tried this myself and have successfully brought back a destroyed plane.
Though I have not tested this process on crew, it should be possible to do the same
with only a few minor changes to the procedure. Once I have a dead crewmate, I will
figure out and post the revival process.

-=Step 1=-
* Go to:
  x:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\LocalLow\Runner Duck\Bomber Crew\BC_SaveSlotV2_0.

-=Step 2=-
* Press CTRL+F to open the find box.
* Search for the name of your desired plane to resurrect.
* This is caps sensitive, so be careful.

-=Step 3=
Once you have found the target, scroll up and down to find all relevant data and
verify you have found the correct place. There are at least three plane datasets
in the config file, so make sure yours begins at

"m_pastCrewmen": [],

"m_currentConfig": {

m_upgradedTypes": {

and ends at

"m_bomberName": " your bomber name"

(Note: right under this data is the "m_currentBalance": and "m_currentIntel" numbers.
While I think cheating ruins the fun of the game, those money and intel balances are
quite changeable. ??)

* Here is an example of what you should copy.
* It will look slightly different depending on your plane’s upgrades, but you get
the general idea.

(I believe if you copy this one, you might be able to steal my plane lol)

"m_upgradedTypes": {

-=Step 6=-
* Delete the section you highlighted in step 5 and paste in the wall of text from step 3.
* If you did this correctly, the game now thinks your current plane has the upgrades of
  your destroyed plane.

-=Step 7=-
* Save, close, and backup the config file, and get to flying!

Tips to Survive:
----------------
Written by Orwell

There are several tips helping you survive longer...probably.

-=Plane Settings=-
* It is OK to rage quit to save everyone.
* It is also OK to not have fire extinguishers by looking for a good RNG. However, there
are some stages almost 100% ignite something in the plane, so take one is probably the
maximum. If 2, start again because fire kills crews instantly.
* Takes 2 fragile lightweight engines is OK, and you only need them for take off, but
make sure the other 2 are somehow durable. Put the durable ones outside to cover the
fragile ones somehow, or put the durable ones inner and focus on repairing them, your
call. You only need ONE engine to keep flying.
* According to tip 1, you also don’t need to have pigeons, parachute, and boats.
* Be sure to close everything (Landing Gear and Bomb Bay) to prevent extra damage.
* Cover the plane with Mk 6 armor is a good option. I did not find any difference in speed.
* Level 2 Radar is quite enough for having everything covered.
* Self-Sealing MK1 is still a good option, which saves engineer from exposing themselves
and probably have more time dealing with engines.
* Improve landing gear and electric system first. They have greater marginal profit since
  oxygen tank sometimes break anyway.

-= Crew Setting and Skills=-
* Be sure to check the lock button on the pilot. You may accidentally move the pilot
somewhere else and crash the whole plane.
* The engineer should at least have some decent armor rather than moving speed. It is also
OK to have the engineer fully armored. Repairing the last engine while under attack is
the worst situation. The engineer will lose all the progression and cannot be rescued.
* Bomb Aimer should also have Gunner training,
* Whatever the ammo Gunners have, spam them. They are still slightly more effective
regardless the types when you don’t have time to differentiate enemies.
* Lean is still an OP skill. Use this as soon as it is ready when relocating the bomber.
* Be sure to heal the gunners by pressing F. An attack can burn 50% of the health of a
gunner even when the gunner is fully armored.
* The crews are still tolerant to the cold. Keeping the plane at the medium attitude not
damaging them too much and avoid some attacks.
* Keep the altitude at least the medium. Go to the low altitude only when necessary.
Medium altitude saves fuels and also saves your plane from ground fire.
* Corkscrew skill changes your altitude, so be sure to select the target altitude first.
